Can't say I understand why gaming companies are voicing their opinions on the matter, but I guess since everyone else is, why not?

4.9 means it is "this close" to being perfect but there are a couple of small things still holding it back

I am equally excited for this title. Easily took the show at the VGAs. (Though this may not have been that hard to do.)

I completely agree, which is why it won Game of the Year!

I like the idea of HD ports of some of the older titles, but not all of them.

...it is also one of the major reasons I have continually said there needs to be a reform. Or better yet have people that can look at a title and judge it both accurately and true. Otherwise these "biased" "fanboy driven" "unrelenting ill mannered" sites will continue to not only cloud, misinform, or push their agenda down the throats of the consumers.

...is that if you own only the PS3 then you will buy this on the PS3 if you only own the 360 then you will buy this on the 360. If you own both then more than likely you already know all of the ins and outs of the game technical side and know where you are going to play it.

you'll be hard pressed to find sites that actually reviewed both versions of the game. Most of them just slap on a convenient same score attitude and leave it be. It is really sad that in order to delvier the most accurate information you'd need to review both in this case and not many sites feel it is important enough to give consumers the right info. Instead they either play in to the current wave of media attention ala Bayonneta or they just ignore the obvious problem people may have with ...

Not all of us are a joke, most of us truly feel that there needs to be a change or rather to equally represent the media that we all know and love. I remember a time when integrity and truth actually meant something. I have been in the business for about 4 years now and I pride myself on delivering the most accurate information to the consumer.

I have played both and like I said in a post before hand if you are playing on an HDTV then yes you made the right choice due to the higher resolution. If you are playing on a SDTV then it really doesn't make that big of a difference. Ultimately it's the right choice because you bought it for the system you wanted to play it on.

It is sad that it has become more "opinions for hire" than a true representation of critiquing the form of entertainment. It's one thing i always try to do when i am reviewing balancing and weighing in what has come before in either the series or the genre and analyzing from there. Cause point blank as i said it is my job to give you all of the information you need to make an educated guess about the game and whether you want to buy it or not. If you wanted to hear the dribble mark...

the "bias" isn't really towards the system only when it comes to profile software on multiplatform. You can generally look at several of the high profile games and they swing anywhere from harsh to just outright belligerent. It's not always been so clear cut but lately it has been obvious.

This isn't the first example of bias (it's been going on since the Sega Genesis/Super Nintendo days) and it won't be the last example of it either.
