I'm interested in this game as well. I love XBLA.
Yeah the Uncharted influence is undeniable. This looks like an original Xbox game though. Having said that, I would still probably play it.
You guys should snatch up Psychonauts.
I'm really interested in people that disagree. The numbers I posted are from Nintendo and Microsoft respectively.
I'm a 360 fan but you have to realize that it would be near impossible for Nintendo to manufacture 750k+ Wii U's for the holiday season. It is a new console and we wont start to see its true colors until a handful of months down the road.
Still...750,000 sold on the console's 8th black friday is pretty impressive.
The Xbox 360 outsold the Wii and Wii U by about 50,000. Wii - 300,000 and Wii U - 400,000.
The Xbox 360 is at around 70 million and the Wii at around 96 or so. The 360 is a current generation console that launched in 2005, the Wii U launching in 2013 and hasn't even come out yet. You have no idea if the next Xbox will be backwards compatible and ports could be superior on the next version as well. You can't directly compare them.
Halo 4 is going to be amazing, I can not wait. That is a bit depressing that the top 10 anticipated PS3 games are all multiplatform with the exception of LBP Karting. I can wait though, The Last of Us next year will be delicious.
You can both stream and purchase music through Xbox Music. You also have the option of it being free with Ads, or a paid subscription. It's actually a combination of two more so. It's actually a pretty good idea. Not to mention they offer more songs than iTunes.
That is awesome and all, but that is seriously hard to believe.
@Godmars290
It is the Fox channel, not Fox news.
I still think the original is the best.
1.) Best exclusives is usually subjective. While the PS3 has a wonderful and highly rated first party line up (for the most part), keep in mind a lot of 3rd party games suffered because of the PS3 being the way it is.
2.) A little redundant there, see number one.
3.) Blu-Ray isn't something they earned by being the most powerful console, it was included in the console. That really is neither here nor there.
4.) They are the number one sel...
I don't mind multi-player as an option in the game as long as it doesn't hinder the single player campaign.
I am going through the game now. I finished the first game and am about to complete the second. I kind of went backwards and played the Future series before the originals. So far they are awesome.
I have the beta bro ;)
They are over saturating the market with not A list Ratchet titles. All 4 One, Full Frontal Assault and the spin off PlayStation Move Heroes or whatever are not what Ratchet fans want. I'm playing through the collection game now and it is awesome.
Not that sales matter, but I do believe if you check the world wide sales the Xbox 360 is ahead of the PS3 and the Wii ahead of the 360. While the gaps have shortened and grown on and off, it has been that way for years.
Well publishing really has nothing to do with it. All of the titles released were published by Microsoft except for Tony Hawk. The ones that were published by Microsoft were not first party studios of theirs. They simply saw games they liked from other developers and offered to publish in return for exclusivity. This is different than only highlighting and releasing games produced in house.
This guy is right. Major Nelson is from Microsoft but he didn't say it was bad or good that they didn't show a console, he is saying it is different.
I think that is a fair statement because although it isn't necessary for Sony to show off the console now, a lot of people were wondering where it was and that is true.
