it wont use that much power. A single 4870 uses more watts than a GTX280. So the 4870x2 will still use more watts than this card.
a few of my friends have the windows 7 beta and they say its actually very good! runs alot faster than vista on less powerful machines. Maybe M$ might have actually made this OS good?
Anyway i really dont understand why people think windows copies OSX, the layout and colours are completely different!!!

Resistance is a better game IMO, im no PS3 fanboy either. My ps3 is actually collecting dust right now. I have gears 1 and 2 and they are both great games, but the multiplayer is complete bullsh*t. The shotgun is useless unless your the host. For example i shot someone in the head from 1 meter away 4 times with a shotgun and they didnt even get downed. wii might sell well but EVERYONE i know with one has just left it after a month of playing with it. It gets boring quick, very quick

9 of my friends have 360 and 7 of them have had RROD including myself. So it think M$ lied about the 30% its way more than that.
BUT the newer 360's dont break apparently and most of my friends were early versions.
Seriously people NXE DOESNT cause RROD, RROD is caused by heat issues! Software can make a difference to hardware but seriously would NXE stress the hardware even more than games? i think not! Games like gears 2 and GTA4 are far more likely to push it than NXE.
hmmm i dont think mirrors edge even uses 128bit HDR? But still imo i think the HDR on the 360 version is better, like i said look at the last scene with the orange building reflecting on the other. The PS3 doesnt have that.
well im not a fanboy but i think the 360 looks a fair bit better. 2xAA, and better HDR. look at the last scene, the light reflects the orange off the building onto the other, where as the PS3 doesn't.. also where's the barbed wire when shes walking across the ledge on the ps3 :P

guns and swords that doesnt look like the 2xAA to me. It looks more like 1xAA, and yes there is such thing lol. 2xAA is much more smooth than in those screen shots.
power of green. The PS3 can do HDR but it uses one of the cells SPU's to do so. The RSX can do either HDR or Anti Aliasing but not both at the same time. So yeah HDR and AA can be done at the same time but the RSX does one and the CELL does the other.
And its a known fact that the PS3 is more powerful, just take a look at the PS3 exclusives, NO 360 games look anywhere near as good.
And why the hell are you showing off halo3 for its graphics? Halo 3 looks terrible!
i flashed my 360's drive to run at 8x instead of 16x and can barely hear it :) It loads games just as quick as 16x too which suprised me. Im not sure why its even set at 16x in the first place.
I thought GTA 4 would of needed 16x but nope 8x played it exactly the same :))

PS3 has better shadows. 360's shadows kinda look interlaced. Anyway it looks great on both consoles :)
Ive got it on PC, playing on highest settings and it look truely amazing! But i havnt played it much because ive been playing Fable 2 xD
hey whats wrong with the big old xbox controller. It was very comfortable imo. just because it was big it didnt make uncomfortable at all.
And the N64 controller was comfy but it was a really bad design. i mean u had to move your hand to switch between the D-PAD and analogue stick.... :-|
looks awesome! Its not gameplay though is it? Gameplay videos ive seen look no where near that good. Or maybe its the compression from GT videos.

I say the 360 controller is the best. Because most new games work with it straight away and it doesnt need to be configured or anything.
PSN never goes down and they dont have to pay for it.. SO its not acceptable for live to go down, as we have to pay for it!
A whole new story mode is a good enough reason for the $65 price tag. Also there will be a load more MP maps, so its definitely going to be worth the 65.
There are plenty of games without multi player but if they are good then the 2nd one will always be worth the money.
