they deserve all the success in the world. My only beef is this- Had Insomniac announced R3 or a new PS3 exclusive today, opposed to the Multi Plat announcement. The same 360fanbois that are in here right now talking about how they love Insomniac(All of a Sudden) would be shitting all over their name and calling their work garbage.
I seen PS3 fanbois do the same with the Bungie announcement and it pisses me off to no end because if we all so TRULY excited to have Dev x bringi...
Once they get a taste of those 360 tech restraints they might not ever want to do another Multi Plat title again. I'm just glad to see them continue their PS3-Exclusive support. I was worried about R3 for a second.

They still have PS3-Only dev kits and they know their way around the PS3 very well. If they continue to make PS3 exclusives here and there expect to see the quality of games you have grown accustomed to. They have all the tools they need to get the job done so nothing will really suffer.
They will have to(if they havent already) build a NEW multi-plat engine that supports... errr hmmm! PS360 titles.
I bet it is! I know you HAVE to be tired of the HALO'S. These guys will breathe some much needed life into your 360. Imsomniac will have this PS3 Fanboys continued support. Aside from R2, I have enjoyed their other offerings.
this was coming. Imsomniac has been making some pretty good games but they just haven't been selling well enough. I'm going to miss having these guys in Sonys "Exclusive" arsenal but they deserve more support.
HOWEVER! You MF'ers(Imsominiac) better bring me Resistance3 before you check out of Hotel Sony. R2 was ok but wasnt great. Make R3 and we're pretty much squared off here. I wish these talented folks the VERY best and the greatest of luck.

Still I popped in my PS3 version last night and MAN! I had a blast. I checked out the SP and MP and they are both great. I stayed up til 4:35am PST playin this thing. A shitload of people on my friendslist were doing the same.

Truth is, ALL games have glitches that can be exploited. Some are just more common found than others. Some hamper the experience and some really are cool like the 50 layer background glitch discovered in LBP. That shit even blew MM away.

To each his own and I'm not disagreeing here but again, they used the GTA4 engine for this game which is optimized to "slightly" benefit the 360 since it was used as the lead platform for both GTA4 and RDR.
I've had both versions of GTA4 at my disposal and aside from the color palette there wasnt much of a difference UNLESS your looking at still frames. I feel like your doing yourself a disservice by sitting out one of the best games of the year and calling ...
Lets as PS3 fans learn something, its called "acceptance". Lets begin by accepting the fact the RDR looks better on the 360, its the truth. The PS3 version is sub-HD(640p-644p) while the 360sku is native 720p. Would we rather have the PS3 sku locked at native 720p? Hell yes. BUT ITS NOT so get over it and play the damn game. I only wish it were Thursday so I could be playing it on my PS3.
