Sony needs to swiftly drop the price of the PS3 due to the state and current conditions of our US economy and the trickle effects its having on other regions. No doubt a bunch of great games and features such as Blu Ray and Free PSN are attractive selling points but that wont mean much when people are reducing and closely calculating their spending habbits.
Plus the Wii has already been cheap and run away competition. MS Xbox360 is $199 which I'm sure is not gonna just cut into P...
I'm actually excited about ES. I think its a pretty cool RPG and Lord knows my PS3 has been RPG deprived so its definantly going to be a welcome addition to my library. My cousin had this on 360 and I liked it rite off the bat.
I just dont know where its gonna fit in because I'm gonna be busy with Wipeout HD and LBP for some time to come. Then theres R2 but I will set aside a day week to focus on ES I suppose. Sony is really pumpin out the goodness these days. Happy Happy HAPPY! ...

I have been playing this since I got off work at 10. My hopes and expectations for LBP were set very VERY high and can I just say that Media Molecule has exceeded them by a country mile!
I started off playing the Story mode and the first 2 levels were ok. The graphics pwn but there wasnt much going on aside from the tutorial stuff but by level 3 I couldnt believe how much fun this ip has in store. Its a platformers fan wettest dream.
So after the story mode I checked...

but it all boils down to Gamers taste in music so I dont see how anyone loses. I played GH and I could only find a few tunes that I wanted to jam to as I am not a Metal Head but I do digg Guns n Roses as well as Metallica. I still great fun playing and acting silly with GH though.
RB2 has a tracklist that more in tune with the type of music I like. Weezer, Chili Peppers, Rage Against The Machine and so on, I like this stuff. I think the visuals in GH outclass those found in RB2...

This is why I prefer to physical content over DD content. Looks like its time to upgrade my 160gb PS3 to a 320gb or 500gb sata HDD in the not-so-near future. I do buy episodes here and there and I would like to keep them FOREVER Sony since I DID pay for them.

would like to know who's at the helm of said ip. Itagaki isnt my favorite dev by any means stretch of the imagination but I respect him as a talented and acclaimed developer and I'm not sure how well Tecmo will be without him. IMO he was the heart and soul of Tecmo so I wont be going goo-goo-gah-gah over this just yet.
