-On a more logical note, Certain Exclusives can define a console. If there were'nt exclusives that were created for a designated console we would only need 1 box. MGS4 helps define the PS3 and IMO its Kojimas best work to date and I'm prould that it can only be played on a PS3, which I paid almost $450 dollars for.
You must be made of glass bc I can see right through that bullS#!t comment you posted. If you ever had any REAL intentions on buying a PS3 for MGS you would've done so when MGS4 was released. You know the game thats ALREADY OUT and highly rated and you get to play as Snake?
When GeOW2 came out I didnt wait to see if it would go to the PS3 I went out and bought Gears 1 and 2 and a 360 so I could play it and because I had a genuine interest in it.
Nor did I say the article said such a thing, I made mention of it because of the Konami list that has surfaced. He DID however, refer to the game as MGS5. All I did was point out the facts sir.
Maybe Konami made a mistake on their list of announcemnts for all i know ;)
My guess is that Kojima is using it because Raiden was born in, and is a part of the MGSolid Universe. Theres really no reason to disconnect him from it for that reason alone.
I'm guessing that this project will be taken in an entirely different direction. I suspect it wont be as story driven as the average MGS games but instead will focus more on action. Kojima has stated that he wants to delve into a more Western approach for gameplay awhile ago. He wasnt BS'n apparently.
Sir, this is Kojima Productions we are talking about here, not Activision.
Regardless of what console it will be on(eventhough its now being reported as a multi-plat ip) we can expect nothing less than an amazingly beautiful crafted and well rounded product. Kojima is a visionary and calling his work a "knock off" is well... insuting to the mans brilliance and track record.

Whats most dissapointing to me is theres all these PS3 owners out there that didnt buy the f'n game and are probably the main ones complaining. Great work should beget Great reward and I feel like a huge portion of the PS3 base gave Kojima the finger by not supporting it. XD

I knew Metal Gear would show up for 360. I didnt know it what form but it was inevitable. Sales expectations were'nt met.
Now to my wacko PS3 Darksyd3 brethren screaming Hideo is a sell out, Shut ya pie holes. Its utter and complete BS. I know that losing MGS in any form stings. Look at how f'n AMAZING MGS4 is. Now imagine the amount of time and money that Kojima Productions invested in it. With the PS3 installed base hovering around 20M+ the game hasn't even reached 4 Million ...

The MS conference is at 10ish and the Kojima countdown will still have 4 hours remaining after the MS Keynote.
Still, I would'nt completely rule it out. We seen what happened with FF13. MS could wind up with a MGS title and Versus. We will know in a few hours.

pass on arguing my point about what score inFAMOUS does or not deserve, instead, I will voice my views on how I really feel about it. Its f'n awsome and an absolute thrill to play as well as addictive.
IMO inFAMOUS lacks the normal polish that we as PS3 gamers have come to expect from our exclusives but inFAMOUS is still a great looking IP, and considering that it was built on what is basically a PS2 engine that was just modified for the PS3 is inSANE and a pretty amazing feat....

Ubi will sell the Hobo Sam skin as dlc. It could be a collectors edition skin.
It actually saddened me when Ubi revealed the older build of Sam. He looked like straight hobo tramp. I mean how do you go from uber cool spy to that ish? This is much MUCH better and it gives me more hope that the final product will appeal to me.

I hate that Sony alloted these devs so much time to talk about it. The dev totally lost me he said that they are harnessing all the power of the PS3 for this game. Does'nt look like it to me but I guess its in it infancy or whatever. Still not impressed though.
