Because a million things. What if the developer wants to do a game where white supremacists take a boost gene medicine to become the supreme race and become zombies instead? Nope, that story can't be told, too many whites, not enough diversity, said the diversity council. What if a never contacted tribe in Africa spreeds a disease among black people never exposed to it and become zombified. Nope, too many blacks, sorry, and so on. For the sake of diversity, there're a million stories ...
A diversity-verified zombie game, I swear we must be connected on a Matrix-like machine and we're just a sitcom for some aliens or advanced AI to laugh at.
Considering the amazing hardware it has, barely no games takes advantage of it. I have a Ps4 pro and I don't think I'm missing much not having a ps5, only demon souls and ratchet are interesting as exclusive ps5 games, but that's really sad on a console that will soon be two years old.
Look at the other games, there are no other new releases in that list and mostly months old games, not surprising that a big release gets in there, no matter how bad and broken it is.
It's incredible that you can carry around a device that's actually capable of emulating PS3, Xbox 360 and Switch, while playing PC games like Spider-man, Cyberpunk, RDR2, etc. Valve have really outdone themselves.
At the beginning of June Steam Deck hit 3.000 verified or playable games according to pc gamer, so if that's what they call "few games", I can't start to dream what this guy consider a handeld library needs to be to have "many games" available.
I finished it a few days ago, for me it's clearly among the top 5 superhero video games of all time, the story is just better than 90% Marvel movies out there, character interactions are hilarous and even moving sometimes, decisions actually matter, combat gets quite deep at the end of the game with tons of character abilities and weapon modes, graphics are among the best i've seen in any game, and it's sooo long, so many worlds, for a single player action adventure game is nearly...
Actually I've just finished Super Mario Odyssey last week on Yuzu on my 256gb Steam Deck (first Mario game ending that I see him crying lol), and currently enjoying Metroid Dread, I hate those robot dogs that follow you anywhere, but finally manage to kill one after defeating the big eye thing lol. I'm planning on playing all those games you mention at some point, and also some PS3 games that run pretty well with RPCS3 too, this thing is a beast.
I find this a good thing, now Nintendo can't simply release a more powerful Switch 2 and call it a day, since I doubt it would be better than Steam Deck that can already run the latest titles, so they need to add some special feature that Steam Deck can't do. I'm secretly hoping we get a Switch 3D, now with eye tracking, higher res and faster screens, it could be amazing. Anyone that tried the New 3DS knows that 3D was great, no more flickering compared to vanilla 3DS, so it would...
Look at the list here: https://worldpopulationrevi... , scroll aaaaaalll the way down in the list of country with the most rape assaults, yep, it's down there with 1 rape assault per 100.000 citizens, where for example EEUU has 27 per 100.000 citizens, in a society where any kind of sexualized content has the moral police coming out in seconds.
No one is more exposed to sexualized fan service than the japanese, and they are possibly to most civilized country in the world, with among the lowest rates of sexual assault or misconduct.
I hope they find some way to make it work on PC, there's nothing with that kind of hardware and graphical fidelity right now for PC.
Can't wait to play this on Steam Deck.
Thankfully you can always count with japanese videogames with some good old fan service to counter neo victorian western games.

Well at 63% in metacritic based on 60 reviews and 3.0 in nearly 600 user reviews, let's agree to disagree.

Not what I expected but i'll hold judgement until I know more about the game, the comic book graphics style looks pretty nice.
You can see the wreck fire from a mile away, amazing job devs.

A big middle finger from the past to all the woke culture, we miss you Duke.

Looks really good, lately aliens, terminator and other classic franchises have been recieving solid games, I hope this one continues the trend.
The problem as with many other chinese handhelds will be price, battery life and support, which can be as important if not more than raw performance.
