This is a fantastic idea to have the player stats updated and transfer's kept up to date, just a massive shame this is not in PES09, as that is the football game i will be playing for the next year. Does make FIFA09 very appealing i just don't like the gameplay when compared to PES games. Shame REAL shame.
I just don't see Home appealing to the older gamer like myself, sure i will give it a spin, i just know that in the end all i want to do is play games.

Having played the game and thought pretty much what everyone on here is saying (was good but just not upto previous versions) i can see why R* delayed the game so the releases were at the same time, who would of rushed out and brought it if they had seen/played the 'other' version first on a friends console, far fewer than ran out and got it the first week i am certain of that.

ID Software basically invented the FPS genre as we know it with Wolfenstein 3D then refined it with Doom and Quake. Many say John Carmack, the lead programmer for the company, is widely considered to be one of the very best in the business, hardware company's like Nvidia come to him to help them judge how advanced game engine's will be in the future so they can more accurately predict the required GPU power for their next cards.

At the end of the day i could buy any of the 3 versions ( i will probably get PC)but all i care about is this yet another ID game, for me at least this is reason enough to buy the game. Does it matter if the 360 version has lower textures or whatever than the PS3/PC versions, no, all that matters is that game plays the same on the PS3/360 (it can't play the same on the PC due to the superior control of mouse/keyboard) and that this is yet another great ID game, my fingers are crossed.
I hope they reduce the levelling requirements, as from what i have found out 60 million is needed to get to level 60, they will be on Uncharted 4 before most people get to that.
Other than that i hope they add a ton of co-op stuff as that is great but a bit thin on the quantity side.
Oh and reduce shotgun damage, too many pussies run around getting one shot kills with it.
