Oh boy, here we go again, this basically an another Avengers game with a little bit more of a focus on online co-op nonsense, the very fact that they are pushing an always online DRM should disgust anyone even paying this title attention, WB and Rocksteady are deserving of all they flack they get for this move, just as much as Need for Speed (2015) did back in the day when it was announced by EA that it was going to have always online DRM, same thing with this game and it's clearly tacked...
That's actually incorrect though, ps4 and xbox one games most of the time included the base game on disc, though unfortunately there were some cases of little being on the disc, but that was far few in between, now if you wanted to say that you weren't getting the fully updated experience then yeah I would agree that yes you would have to download said update(s).
But this simply isn't true, yes in some cases very little comes on the disc, but in most cases at the base game (at least the campaign) is usually on the disc and then from there you download the said updates, I really think people need do some actual research into this instead of pushing around a baseless claim every time an instance of this pops up once and awhile, I agree it sucks 100% that it happens, but when sites and youtubers push this baseless claim around it spreads the claim ou...
I highly disagree that the game "Works absolutely fine on PS5" compared to the open beta they had last year the performance on the PS5 version is terrible, to go from 60 to dropping down into the 30-25 fps range is completely unplayable, the open beta that was held last year, sure had some minor framerate issues where it would drop in the mid 40s - low 50s range, but nothing as severe as what's going on right now.
