"But people loyal to other console just don't understand what they are missing because they never had it."

Actually, I think most gamers have at some point played online on their PCs, which in its own right has the best online service and community over all other platforms.

Then you've got Playstation Plus, which is an incredible value for your money, considering you get 2 full AAA titles per month for free, with a total of 12 available at a...

Don't know if betting your wife on it is such a good idea... Unless you're dying to get rid of her.

It's a great plan to get new people into Microsoft that will create new and exciting exclusives, but there's one major obstacle - Steve Ballmer.

@HD_GAMER

If Ubisoft's games suck so much, why even waste your bandwidth on them? No matter how hard you try, it's not possible to justify piracy - you're essentially taking what isn't yours. Would you be happy if you made a product, tried to sell it to make your living off it, and everyone just got it of a third party who copied it for free?

@Alos

Clearly you should read my comments again, as you completely missed my point. D...

I didn't say it was.

DRM isn't about hurting anyone though, nor are any of the other techniques. Though admittedly DRM is shitty, it is about protection of their product.

To say DRM is the reason of high piracy on your games is just a plain out lie though.

We used to be able to rent PC games. When I was a kid, we often went to the library, and they had a section for recent PC games. That disappeared quite quickly though when piracy became mainstream.

They gave society the chance to prove that they were better than that, but in the end piracy wasn't about 'trying' the game, it was about getting it for free.

You're misunderstanding a few things in my post

1) I do not condone of the practices such as the one specified above

2) Every business is about the money. It's the way they go about doing so that makes the difference, which is the point I was making. Does Blizzard have a bad reputation? or Valve? Yet they make more money than 99% of the businesses out there

3) I was not irritated, I was emphasising my point.

And they are a priority because? Right, because they are the things that make or break your business - e.g. Staff and Customer satisfaction is about the money.

Every business is about the money - acknowledging that hardly endorses these kinds of practices.

It means that the frame wasn't completely processed yet - it's an artefact caused by the limited number of rays.

For the record, this isn't ray tracing - this is Path Tracing. While similar, they're not the same thing, and Path Tracing is significantly more difficult to use in Real-Time. Not because the algorithm itself is so intensive, but because of the enormous number of rays required to generate a high-quality image - something this modder hasn't achie...

This sentence was aimed at you:
"So how do I answer this with you believing my answer is genuine and not influenced or whatever?"

Think about it, would EA really gain anything out of treating Bioware like shit? They bought the company because of their talent, and demonstrated ability to make games. Why would it be in their interest to destroy that work ethic?

4322d ago 0 agree3 disagreeView comment

Did you even bother to read the article? It's EA's reputation that hurts Bioware, not EA as a company.

Haha, I like how the article just makes your comment look really stupid, kikizoo. It's really a good idea to read before you write ;)

"Female gamers shouldn't automatically be assumed to suck at video games, and we most certainly don't need an entire skill tree devoted to our lack of skills."

He never even implied that female gamers suck at games. He implied that there's fewer females who play First Person Shooters than there are males, which is a statistical fact.

4325d ago 15 agree5 disagreeView comment

He never said or implied that there aren't any girlfriends that play video games. He was speaking in the context of people who don't play video games, and the majority of the time that that bothers someone is in a relationship, and the majority of the time that this is the case, it's the girlfriend, not the boyfriend, who doesn't play many games.

Clarifying why he said that is that that's probably the situation in which he's currently in himself.
