This article is a bit disingenuous in that it fails to mention that the LA studio was just a skeleton crew and the development has already been moved to the multitude of other studios.
@Abriael You're trying to argue with a bunch of talking parrots that know nothing about the game. It's futile lol.
@cthulhucultist You can play SC for $45. Less than a AAA game. The product they have out now is easily worth $45.
The game already has a ton of features now. When you have games like Concord churning out after 8 years and hundreds of millions of dollars it makes what SC has accomplished not look as bad as people make it out to be. I personally already play it now, so it isn't any more "not coming out" than any of the other early access games out there selling unfinished games. This one just is far more successful than the others and its because what they are creating is something far beyond...
Ubisoft spent that much, took that much time and delivered the trash pile that is Skull and Bones, so that really isn't as bad as people think it is.
Stunningly bad maybe.
Ubisoft used to be a great developer. Oh how the mighty have fallen.
I remember a time when Ubisoft made good games. Those days are long behind us. Now they just turn out cookie cutter no effort reskins of the same terrible game over and over again.
Deserves some credit? What? Yeah, MS SOLD a company out of the goodness of their hearts lol. This was a calculated business decision on what was best for the bottom line.
I actually enjoyed Far Cry 5 and New Dawn. Far Cry 6 was a joke. It was a step backwards in every way. That was probably the worst Far Cry I have ever played.
I still couldn't get into it. The ship handling is just too painfully arcadey and unsatisfying. If you play the game for base building, exploration, etc then I could see how you could enjoy it. If you actually want to play it for the spaceship...meh.
While I don't think it should be unlimited, I do think that Early Access games should have a longer period of time to request a refund.
Yeah, as if we needed another extraction shooter to add to the heap we already have...time for some actual creativity game devs. We have more than enough extraction shooters.
I disagree, but I still wouldn't get this monitor because the res is just too small for that size. That res is fine for a 34" Ultrawide, but should be higher for 45". Using a TV for a monitor comes with its own annoyances though. Mainly they take some trickery (usually special software) to get them to turn off/on when the PC commands them to unlike a normal monitor that does this automatically.
I think it will be good...will it be great? Eh...We'll see. I'm not going to get my hopes up too high. I do think(hope?) it will get a lot more scrutiny after the disaster that was Redfall though. That game was a joke and they should be ashamed for greenlighting that dumpster fire. It wasn't finished enough even for Early Access.
One major missed opportunity I feel with Starfield is no co-op. It would be nice to explore that vast open space with a few friends.
Back 4 Blood was 1000000x better than Redfall.
Anthem at least had enough to entertain me for a few hours...Redfall I uninstalled in 15 minutes. This is honestly an insult to Anthem lol. It was a better game than Redfall.
Yeah...I can't take anyone who gives this game a 9/10 seriously. They are delusional.
PlayStation Plus is not free you sausage. Nothing is "free" on PlayStation Plus because you are paying a subscription to have access to everything there...This comment section needs to start sharing the brain cell more.
"Made their own" ....sure they did. I guess they should have let the emulator coders go a bit longer before they shut it down and more of their games might have worked lol.
