What people fail to understand is that you can't compare a PC to a console. Consoles are a closed system which means developers can optimized there software without having to keep up with the next tech. PC's are the opposite, greedy graphic card manufacturers are releasing cards every six months. By the time a game is released they have to think about every card that was released before there game was.

There was so much wrong with ffxiii it won't be hard for SE to exceed it. What makes an rpg good for me is the story, characters and exploration. One thing I hate about JRPG is that I refuse to spend a week leveling up my character with repetitive fighting just to beat a boss so the story can continue. DICE is a great developer but they are terrible promotors! All this confusion and uncertainty is all there fault. They should've just shown the console version from the get go.
