Peter moore said GTA would launch on 360 same day as PS3. He said there would be exclusive downloadable content for the 360. You know stuff like new maps only for the 360 new weapons. Clean your ears or listen to the whole speech before making comments.
The 360 costs $400 + tx That is too much for a lot of people. We are gamers everyone on this site. It is worth that price to us to buy the system. It is not worth it to people who are buying the PS2 at $129 That is a $271 price difference. Don't you think this means something. It will be a long while before either the 360 or PS3 reach the numbers of the xbox or PS2 simply because they are not worth it to people who don't love games like we do.
We can question anyone that asks for our money. Anyone t5hat tells us to work overtime so we can give them more money. It isn't about the technology. The system will be good. The games will be good eventually, but when you ask for my money you have to justify it to me!!!!
The first game for live anywhere tying together the 360 and the PC. It is the first of it's kind must have for just that alone. Besides I liked the shadowrun books anyway.
What this guiy is proposing is unacceptable. I don't want half @ss games. Make them right the first time. Online is for demos, playing with your friends and previews. Patches should not be there.It shows signs of being greedy and lazy.
They copy something make their own and then everybody owns it. Which is dominate Apple's OS or Windows? MS has a way of selling thier product very well.
What happens when the next update comes along. And checks for this mod. How do you know MS is not storinginfo about usage on the the HHD and uploading when you sing in. Lot of risks there. $400 is to much to pay for something not to work the way it was meant to be. This thing has security built into the chipset and gets updates regulary. I just don't believe a modchip can keep up with all that.
I really think they are underestimating the difficulty of making this distributon network. Or maybe like everything else they do they have to put on a front. I hope this works the way the say it will I just have no faith in sony executives making truthful statements. Good luck sony!!!!
After looking at the rest of the pictures I think women should this ad campaign just as offensive as blacks. It has overtones of racism and sexism. Damn Sony think about these things before you do them. Japanese culture is not the world's culture. Just because japan incorporated movie stereotypes of black people and women have a lesser role there doesn't mean you can't export this stuff to other countries with impunity.

The shops stopped taking pre orders because they will only be getting 20 units per store. Where with the 360 they got 50 - 80 units. Talk about your shortages and price gouging. November is gonna really hurt those Sony fans wallets.
Mass Effect has elements of chosing your characters path, but all of Biowares RPG's have that. And if you played either Kotor you know they were great games. Mass Effect gives you a good story over a three release arc and the character interface is almost revolutionary according to most people who has played the demo.

If you enjoy the games and system why are you worrying. Just get it when it comes out and have fun.
Sony fans will buy the PS3. They will enjoy it and there is nothing anyone can say to change thier minds. 360 owners will have a more affordable system and games, a better live service and a better controller. That doesn't mean the PS3 won't be fun. In the end that is all that matters, have fun with your game system. If you don't then it is a waste of money!!
They are losing $125 for every premium package they sell. So like the PS3 wait a year for the costs to drop. I have mine so you can do whatever.
But is it sold out 1 year from release when it is still $600 and all the fanboys have thiers. Remember it is not you or your friends that will make the PS3 succeed but they casual gamers who will buy in 2008
