I'd like to know Sony's excuse for not redesigning the horrible useless triggers on the DS3 anytime during the life of the PS3. Three console redesigns and still kept using the same garbage triggers, not to mention the stubby little grips and convex thumbsticks so close together your thumbs bump when pushing them both inward.
Based on the numerous semi-intelligible comments posted I would speculate there is a dearth of literate people here able to read through the entire article.
Agreed, I don't understand why a modern x86 based machine can't somehow be configured or tricked to play any software from an x86 based machine from 16 years ago by just putting in the discs. I'm not a program or tech expert but would like an honest explanation for this.

Right on, the biggest problem with society today is feelings have become more important than logic and reasoning. Part of the feminization of society, in which women are just as good and equal with men until it doesn't benefit them, at which point they pull out their "woman" card. see comment below.
I don't see why this would be difficult since the original Xbox was also x86 based. Should be easier than making 360 games bc anyway. Would be nice to plop in an old Xbox original disc and start playing a few old gems since my original crapped out a few years ago.

I don't post often but when I saw this I couldn't resist. For years on this site all I ever read and saw was disdain for MS putting ads on Xbox Live. Now that Sony is doing it I see arguents that its no big deal and can be a good thing. Where were the articles and opinons years ago that ads on Xbox Live could be a good idea and no big deal?
Is Kinect needed for Cortana to work or is it some kind of replacement for Kinect?
Is Kinect required to use Cortana, or is Cortana meant to replace the Kinect for voice commands? Does anyone even remember Kinect?
Would be great if they also added backwards compatibility for original Xbox games. I know its an old system without the popularity of the 360, but being its based on the same x86 architecture shouldn't be to difficult. Would be a cool feature to brag about and my dying original Xbox could finaly be put to rest.
Looks like it blocks ventilation on the entire right side of the console. Although from the outside it looks like it retains vents, if you look at the picture of it on the side facing the console there are no vents other then the small one I presume is for the hdd.
To many spoiled brats complaining about getting free stuff. When will the complaints start about not getting free Gold or Plus memberships? I'm surprised no complaints about actually having to pay for the console. Maybe one reason Sony is in not good financial shape is becuase they give out such good free stuff. Why buy a game if it will be free in a month? Come on Sony, dont be so greedy and send me that free PS4.
No, Japs just won't buy foriegn brand if a local brand provides the same thing. They have a nationalist streak when supporting business. Good for them though, we might actually have jobs here if we did that.

Should be entitled "5 Things I Hate About the Xbox One". Don't count me as part of the "we", I find none of these reasons to hate the Xbox One. My list goes Power Brick, no easily acessible USB port on front, power brick, tiny thumbsticks, power brick. Otherwise like it.
Internalize the Power Supply. Would rather have the console the same size without the power brick. Hate finding somewhere inconspicuous to put them and the extra wiring they bring. While at it, move the USB port from the poorly placed left side to the easily accessible front and add a second one.

Yep, how right you are, greedy MS charging a whopping $5 a month for 4 free games and online play. For a price that extreme they should issue the console for free and at least 8 games a month.
