Good numbers for Halo as expected, I was a little disappointed with ODST personally even though I loved Halo 3.
I want a PS3 slim but need to try and sell my old PS3 first!

Why does it matter if a AAA game is on another console it’s still a AAA game and should be celebrated? Even though im lucky enough to have a ps3 and xbox 360 and feel i can make a fair judgement on games and the consoles its not worth giving your opinion most the time especially against the fanboys.
Really is a good time to be a multi console owner, even though i'm a big Forza fan these shots do look stunning.
GT5 is clearly the winner in graphics i do not see how this can be disputed, saying that i don't think the difference is massive forza 3 isn't an ugly game.
The only thing i worry about is that PD dont do their normal GT update by just updating the graphics and cars, ive been spolit by the amount of customization and Multiplayer in forza so lets hope they ...
Forza 3 is better than NFS Shift in every single way, i have completed NFS Shift and while it was one of the better NFS games it could of been so much better and is still and arcade racer.
The handling in NFS Shift is very arcadey and completely unrealistic as anyone who has driven a car around a track will tell you. The visuals are quite nice and i do like the sound but my biggest gripe is the layout of the game itself.

Same here i loved the original crackdown and hopefully Crackdown 2 will have a bit more variety in missions. That was the only downside to a great game.
The game went gold last week i think so what you see is what you get, if it is a bug or glitch they may patch it later on.
While i do believe Forza 3 will be a better 'package' i do think the GT5 cars edge it in the looks department but saying that the enviroments do look better in Forza 3 so theres not a lot in the graphics.
I'll still be picking up both but from we have seen and heard so far Forza 3 just offers so much more than graphics. I welcome the youtube video upload in GT5 because it shows they are trying new things and not just adding more cars and improving graphics.

Even though i will be purchasing both GT5 and Forza 3 i completely agree with the article, cutting the cars down and adding more tracks and customization would of been better as most of the cars are variants of the same car.
I don't think good graphics are enough any more Forza has rasied the bar but maybe GT has some things up its sleave.
Well i'm not exactly rich just have an average job and i can afford both, £200/£250 really isn't that much money if you can save.
As long as both consoles have good games then both will be played.
It's purely down to the cost, my last upgrade was 2 years ago but whats the point spending £500-£700 every 18 months when you can purchase both the PS3 and Xbox 360 for that price which will last for 5+ years.
Also with services like XBL and PSN the 'community' that is present with PC gaming is now growing on consoles.
Still 5 weeks to go :(

It's all about what games you like.
Even though i own 9 PS3 games for me the 360 has more of the games i like which are FPS and racing games. plus the other little things like the controller and XBL, but my best friend has both and he likes the PS3 better.

On the side it looks like the paint has peeled off but an extra controller is always welcome.
