I like it. Looks different that Gears Visually. Its a nice contrast, gears uses alot of browns and greys while LP takes place in bright environments with bright pretty environments.
It will come with a year or two delay. Microsoft has created a new studio whos job is it only to port xbox games to windows. They are currently working on Halo2Vista and im sure once that ships new year its onto Gears.
It shouldn't bother xbox 360 gamers because it means more console exclusives to xbox 360 and then later showing up on pc, versus showing up on xbox 360 and other consoles.
This is not a big deal with an RPG. RPGs are linear games for the most part so after about 15 hours of gameplay you switch discs, no biggie. With oblivion or something that would have been akward swapping in-between cities but that worked out fine and oblivion was only actually 5GB in size.

What do you mean USB is not fast enough. You know the decoding is done by the xbox 360 after it passes through the USB wire. If you don't know then don't speak, it just removes all doubts your a moron to people.
Let me explain, the HD-DVD movies are encoded in VC-1 in 1080p on the disc, the add-on reads this compressed data and sends it over USB to the xbox 360 drive to then decode and output. Same with blu-ray, except they use Mpeg 2 compression.

The disc is actually more than 30 cents what about the packaging. Anyways its the content that costs more. An xbox 360 game technically cost them $1 to make but its the content that boast the cost to $50 to $60 dollars.

I have a feeling microsoft is going to outspend sony into the red. Sony is already losing tons of money per a console sold, add into that advertising, shipping and other expenses and it's going to get costly.
The ps3 not shipping with component cables is showing that sony is trying to shorten the loss as much as possible but in the end every ps3 sold makes the wound that much worse.
Its microsoft, no way they are paying retail. The remote most likely cost them under $10 and since they are buying king king in a huge they probably get it for way under retail. Same with the HD-DVD drives, they buy the parts in huge quantities so they get a discount. I wonder if microsoft is making any money off the drives.

Actually they have started making money off the consoles according to iSuppy they make about $70 off a console. Some of that is lost to Retailers, shipping but none the less money is being made.

Dont talk if you dont know whats happening. First of all the xbox 360 doesn't need one since the battery is external. Second, the controllers came with 2 AA batteries (energizer)so atleast you can use the controllers out of the box.
These are also not the type of cables you would lying around the house unless you own a psp or a certain digital camera (sony). I have a Kodak digital camera and it uses a different type of plug.
