Putting any faith in Halo Infinite when they literally announced the game was launching incomplete for the full retail price just makes someone a fool. The red flags were up long before the game released and people still preordered or bought on release.
Switch date isn't announced the same time as the rest of them, could be a sign that they're not holding back the other versions, but instead porting it to the switch after the fact and having to cut what they can to get it to run.
A lot of times these collectibles gain value over time. I used to have a statue of the lich king from wow that I paid $400 for, I sold it last year for $1500. That was with it out of the box as well.
I have no intention of buying this statue, just pointing out that it will more than likely be worth more in a few years.
Are you sure you don't want the game to also be free? To wash your dishes, mow your lawn, fold your laundry?
People need to just refer to them as console exclusives at this point. And that's not hating on Xbox, the PC released ps games are console exclusives as well. Doesn't make sense to just say exclusive when it's also on pc.
Just did a trilogy remaster, the only series remaster I want
I legitimately don't understand the negative criticism of porting ps games to PC, it increases the money the games make, allowing for higher possibilities of sequels. How do any of you benefit off of these games only being on PS? This is coming from someone who owns a PS5 as well as a gaming PC.
You do realize that Activision (the company behind call of duty) and blizzard have literally been the same company since 2008, right?
It should be good news for everyone, if they're delaying it, it means it's not ready. Had they released it this year and it was broken, everyone would complain that they didn't delay it. Do people want a game that works on release, but you have to wait longer, or a game that releases early, but is broken?
Rockstar deserves the hate it gets nowadays, gta5 got 0 dlc releases over its lifespan, meanwhile the online was blown up by mtxs (something people love to bitch about but give rockstar a free pass with), the online was also a complete disaster for months into release. As for rdr2, I honestly wonder if people played the same game as me, yes the single player was polished, but it had one of the most predictable and underwhelming stories to come out of rockstar. This is coming from someone who ...
GTA online was a total trainwreck, what are you talking about?
I'll take the flak for saying it, but my expectations for gta6 are in the gutter. Gta5 had a great story and then rockstar shit the bed by not releasing any single player dlc and going hard with the online which was a disaster with connection problems for months, and overloaded with mtxs. RDR was one of my favorite games and rdr2 felt so lackluster to me, that I feel like rockstar has lost their edge.
They said the game was unfinished before they released it, still charged $60, people still bought it
I honestly can't even be bothered with boycotting things just because of the actions of an individual. There are plenty of people whose politics or ideologies I don't agree with in the slightest, but I still engage in enjoying the content they put out because it's... enjoyable.
Rockstar has been getting away with stuff for a decade now. People try to hail them as the last remaining good AAA dev, but it's far from it. They've milked gta5 on 3 different console generations at this point, still haven't released a single player dlc for it. Their onlines are full of MTX, which is why they don't bother putting much effort into their single player anymore. RDR2 was the most copy and paste garbage story I've played in recent years, yet was hailed as a ge...
You're 100% right, it's not an Xbox exclusive, just like horizon, days gone, death stranding aren't exclusive to ps. I don't get why people have such a hard time accepting when something is or isn't an exclusive.
If you read the article it literally says that there will still be a challenge mode for people who want to start over
The game gives me rise of the Argonauts vibes, for whoever remembers that game. It was trash.
I'm still holding out on a remastered resistance trilogy. I loved the story and the online was fun as hell.
I don't think this game was underrated at all. I was beyond excited for it back in the day, to the point I went to my local GameStop's midnight release with my friend and was letdown with what the game turned out to be. The game was pitifully short and had completely erratic difficulty. I think the setting based on the book was the only thing that helped the game out at all from standing out.
