I wouldn't mind getting it, but from what many people are saying the game gets old fast. It's not really that different compared to the shooters out for PS4 right now except for mobility. Hopefully the second Titanfall will be a little more revolutionary.
Hopefully a comparison video gets put out right away when the update hits so I can see how it impacts battery life.
Though I can imagine this being annoying, I kinda figured out you could control both right away. Just put it in a game you don't care about like a game demo or something and you are good if you want. I use the ps4 party system while I play ps3 with buddies.

No, actually the adapter is incredibly overpriced at $25 dollars and M$ loses almost nothing by including it in this package.

I'm just glad we saw the graphical downgrade in trailers before release. Would hate to plop out sixty dollars and take it home to find out the product was quite inferior to product.
It's a problem I had with the commercials of GTAV, the commercials all feature gameplay in 60 FPS and are much smoother than the actual game release consumers got. I'm surprised there hasn't been more flack on that.

Was contemplating coming back to this game because I haven't put much time into it since Damage 2.0 came to PS4 and they nerfed XP from all enemies, but the snowglobe nerf just ruined my favorite frame. Frost doesn't have powerful abilities and SG was his best and most unique one, but now that is ruined...

BF4 launched with ten maps, and these maps are GIANT compared to Titanfall maps, probably four + times their size.

I would have still liked a good MP to play, I'm tired of playing CoD and Battlefield. The Last of Us is the example of a studio that can do a SP amazing and do the MP fantastic as well, I was hoping this would do something similar.
They have already said they expect Titanfall to be a series around for a long time, they most certainly do have a say in that. You will see AT LEAST bi-annual releases if not annual releases in the coming years of this game if it sells well enough.
Mine too, the game is not the revolution in MP FPS like people are saying, but more of an evolution of it. People die in three bullets, Titans are the new "kill streaks" but now you get one no matter what each game, etc.
The mobility and jet packs are definitely the most interesting thing to me, and more games need to incorporate that style of movement.
Whether they want to or not, you are going to see Titanfall 2, Titanfall 3, Titanfall 4: Postmodern Warfare, Titanfall Postmodern Warfare 2...etc.
EA is definitely betting on this becoming the next big cash cow and boy are they going to milk it.
A bit disappointed honestly. I will still probably get this game, but most of my PS4 games run at 60 fps and going back to 30 just feels so sluggish. Went back to play Last of Us and GTA 5 and it is incredible how sluggish it is in comparison to a game that is running at 60 FPS.
I think live from playstation helped a lot. People who get this game early or on release have been streaming and saying a lot of good things about the game to their viewers and that persuaded many people to go and buy it.
Counter Strike is still one of the most watched shooters after so many years and several different versions and has tons of tournaments and viewers every year, all without sprint. People keep saying Halo needs sprint to evolve, but clearly that is not the case. If people can keep playing CS after so any years without sprint, they can definitely build Halo without sprint.
