Exactly. I don't see why people keep pitting the Switch/Switch 2 against handheld PCs. They are two different ecosystems, and they are treated as such.
I didn't even know Elden Ring was coming to the Switch 2.
I mean, you could have played it on a phone, on an Amazon Fire TV stick, on laptops, PCs, and some TVs. You haven't needed an Xbox for quite some time.
Same. I enjoyed it, but Moon kept changing stuff, and I put it off until the game was more stable. Now, we have this update coming, and I can't wait to dive back in.
SoC's do not produce games. Developers produce games. How much devs will be able to pump out on the hardware, well, that's too to be seen.
Welcome to 10 years ago. Not to be rude, but when it was noticed that you'd get major clout for doing this, it got worse. Sites report on leaks, regardless if they know they shouldn't. Hey, if we don't, we lose traffic. Same for content creators, actually worse.
It's terrible, and these people who leak the stuff need to be made an example of.
That was precisely one of the concerns, keeping Terry but adding a completely new cast, with a lot of characters that the FGC felt were "gimmicky". It also removed a lot of mechanics from other Fatal Fury games; Two-lane switching was removed, they trimmed down the inputs, and most of the mechanics were simplified. The animation was also "flat" compared to SF3, and it was mostly the same as the last games. Where, compared to SF3, Capcom took some major risks adding the par...
Exactly. This crap is what gives gaming journalism a bad name.
Could? We are definitely witnessing the Smoot-Hawley act all over again.
Thanks. I didn't see those at the time. I will update the piece.
There are plenty of people calling it out, it's just the media isn't. I've seen a lot of them just going gaga over the system, and of course, many were also at the preview event. Can't be pissing off Nintendo when they are doing us a favor. And that's the part of the industry that I'm part of and I hate.
Call this crap out, regardless. $80 games will not go over well if this trend continues.
Oh, I know about Shin'en's game and I'm happy about that. I always wondered why Nintendo just didn't give them the license so they can work on F-Zero. Seeing how Nintendo apparently doesn't care for it anymore.
Same. We won't get a new F-Zero, but this works.
I guess if this is the only way to get a F-Zero game on the Switch 2... thanks Nintendo.
Gamers: This game is TOO HARD. Why is it too hard?
Also Gamers: Wow, this character makes the game too easy. Why can't the game be harder?
My brain = broken. Complain because it's too easy or too hard. Just shut up and play the game. Is that so hard? Do you need to make a terrible article that basically says I don't know how to play at a harder difficulty?
Played this at SGF and it was a blast. Even after my turn was up, I hung around the booth to chat it up with the developers and I can assure you, this game is going to blow minds. The downside is this won't be released until 2026.
Nothing. We just like the damned game. Is that a freaking problem for you? Who paid you to be rude?
Very cool. If you liked Gundam or Zone of the Enders and wanted something.... more, this might be it!
Indeed!
I suppose better late than never. But why?
