Surely there are limits to cosmetic mtx even if its free to play. Literally $20 for 1 skin is rather insulting relative to the price of a game.

@gangsta_red

Thats the entire point, he was testing the limits by seeing how far people would go to post messages for $5 on Fiverr, it had to be shocking. He followed up "Death to all jews" with "Subscribe to Keemstar" to make it clear he was not serious. When they actually did say the message, he was shocked they did it. That is the context.

WSJ ommited all of this and only reported the "Death to the Jews" part, contacted di...

Clearly they reported fake news, that is an objective FACT, not "alternative facts", not lies, plain FACT. There is no context and it was intended to be defamatory.

You are in denial because you invested a lot of time into having a preconceived opinion towards him and think that you are undeniably right, even if pewdiepie is truly being the victim of the media. Its okay to be wrong sometimes, thats progress.

Look at ReviewtechUSA, a youtuber who...

"Keep spinning that shit guys. You're proving my point"

What exactly? Making out all fans to be complete idiots because they don't agree with your perspective?

The fact that you regard attempts to start legitimate dialogue with you as invalid shows how much you only stick to the things you agree with, I see a lot of bias. Kind of like how SJWs can never have a coherent discussion because they always reject criticism when things dont go t...

Instead of simply dismissing whatever he does as being idiotic how about you consider things from the other perspective for once?

WSJ intentionally cherry picked antisemitic "jokes" and put them out of context and in addition, contacted disney regarding these bullshit claims to hurt him financially. Even if you dislike pewdiepie, you have to admit what they did was disgusting and an act of censorship.

Why not be more open-minded and give him a ...

Im curious, what kind of jokes are "intelligent", what isn't "intelligent"?
Who defines what is funny and what isn't funny?
If somebody sensitive gets really offended does that make it unfunny?

I'm sure there is a reason why pewdiepie's sense of humour got him to where he is now.

3041d ago 7 agree1 disagreeView comment

Perhaps he pushed the boundaries by making that joke, but he was never serious about it when taken in context.

The issue is, the media once again has taken this to the next level and incited fake outrage by labelling him as a jew hater, while consciously ignoring the context of what he said. People buy into this outrage blindly because they don't do their research and take what was said at face value and the truth. Thats what's messed up.

Jesus, you people on this site act like he's the second coming of hitler, literally.

Look at the context of the what he said before judging. He said "Death to all Jews" to make a point about how the media tries to spin whatever he says to fit their narrative. And he proven his point because now they actually are, is there really anything wrong with that?

3041d ago 8 agree8 disagreeView comment

The media took his statements out of context once again when he was just making a sarcastic joke to mock the very situation he's in with the media itself. Watch h3h3's defense on pewdiepie video, Ethan makes this point very clear.

I know a lot of you guys hate him and I honestly think its too excessive sometimes, but I advice keeping an open mind and refrain from jumping to conclusions based on your predetermined opinions. Be skeptical of all your information sourc...

I said before, the intention for charity does not matter because we would never truly know. Perhaps its a mixture of selfless and "selfish" motivation. Call it exploitation, call it taking advantage. A lot of entertainers provide charity partly because of what they gain from it. I don't see wrong in it as long as it helps the people in need.
Whatever Pewdiepie tweeted (if it did exist) is the honest truth of charity by most famous groups or people...

You're wrong, charity is an action of providing towards the community regardless of intention. Basically what you're saying is he shouldn't be donating to charity just because he has the "wrong" intention. Yes, he shouldn't be helping disadvantaged people in need just because it is not "an act of good out of your heart"
Why is he not allowed to use it as a tool for positive publicity? Other youtubers, actors, musicians, corp...

Never heard about the twitter thing and I find it hard to believe when there isn't any evidence, or whether you are really interpreting it as the truth. There should be more controversy if he tweeted something like that.
Regardless, charity is a commendable action and he should have the right to brag about it if he did it. Doesn't matter whatever his intentions were for donating because we would never know. It's a smart way of attracting positivity ...

He's just a normal person making youtube videos with humor mostly targeted towards children or teens. Whether it is inappropriate, unfunny is subjective. I see loads of "haters" calling his fans autistic or fagets when they cannot see their own hypocrisy in making such comments.
I don't understand all the overwhelming exaggeration and negative judgement towards him as a person, he's a pretty charismatic person and successful youtuber who clearly provides towards ...
