Gamer entitlement never ceases to amaze me. GTA V, single player alone, is a damn near perfect game of such massive scale that I felt was already worth $60. If you don't feel like paying for stuff online, go play single player and you'll be able to buy everything. We are definitely not being "robbed" by Rockstar because that insinuates that we got nothing at all for our money, which is just a RIDICULOUS statement to make.
How are supposed to play Pocket Monsters (Pokémon), when the damm thing doesn't even fit in your pocket?
And then BF4, COD, Killzone and GTAV come out later this year. Shooters are far from being dehtroned, they just had a lack of quality titles last year. BF4> medal of honor any day.
This is a crime against human rights, so lets violate all of these officers' human rights by imprisoning all of them. Im glad you have everyone's rights in mind....
"Damn, these games totally trump the free games from my PS plus subscription. Defense grid > Deus Ex, XCOM, Uncharted 3, and Saints Row the Third any day," said no one ever.
I think by creating a great system for which any indie developer can use, Sony has ensured success in the gaming business. The quality and artistic vision in some indie games already far surpass that of most AAA titles. And they're only going to get better.
What game do you even play? Any console that goes 3 months without a game is bound to collect dust.
I equate watching other gamers to watching professional sports; it is the best way to pick up a game. Just as you can learn how to run a pick and roll in basketball, you can learn proper flanking techniques in a shooter. The more exposure that live video games get, the better we will all become.
The PS3 already does this with a subscription to plus. All system updates and game patches are downloaded and installed at whichever hour of the day that you designate. Mine turns itself on at 1:00 in the morning to take care. An "always on" internet connection isn't needed for this feature.
Bethesda games have never been known for their graphical fidelity (at least without mods). They nail the atmosphere, the music, the art style, and they pair that all with top notch gameplay. By your standards, all Wii U games must suck too, even though we know thats far from true.
