For me personally, i have to add:
Jak and Daxter series, went totally the wrong direction (for my taste)
Mortal Kombat series, lost ALL it's "charm". And a bad fighting engine
Totally understand why the PS2 won..
But personally my best console experience this decade came from the Dreamcast.. Great games from the go, and online.. I remember i didn't feel that impressed with the PS2 at the beginning, but it needed some time, and the it became great, but the DC did so that the PS2 wasn't a giant leap for me..
Still picks up a lot of background noise though...
I never got really into R2. Have not even finished it yet.
the campaign is Ok but the AI is rediculus. Especially the big enemies simply ignore the other soldiers and just run past them and after you like crazy. It feels so stupid..
I think the graphics are quite good, but the shooting and water effects are horrible.
But the 60player match is impressive.. No lag :)
Agree!! It's fun, but Powerstone2 has way more playtime than smash in my house when it comes to 4 player fun.. Even if smash i s 2d gameplay it gets confusing for beginners, so powerstone is easier for beginners to jump into, even if they're drunk :P
Ninja blade is NOT better than Ninja Gaiden! not even close..

I have an Elite.. It was the most reasonable buy when it came to HDD space.. I wanted more than 60gig.

There are a lot of graphical glitches in this game. And artifacts looking white lines on screen.. Kinda annoying..
It has its cool parts also.. the QTE feels kinda meaningless
But I don't think they'll have any chance against K2..
Halo 3 looked meeh, not even real 720p, because of the "amazing" lighting and graphics isn't Bungies strongest side.

Uncharted looks way better than gears2. And yes of course I own them borth.. It's amazing that this was naughty dogs first attempt on the PS3. I rememeber feeling that my PS3 has finally awakened.

I loved the Dreamcast controller, but the d-pad was bad dough. Now i prefer the 360 controller in most games.. but the Dualshock 3 has a superb d-pad :)
Well, I can tell you, Its NOT for casual players.. maby fun for them in versus, but casual player will have a huge challenge in arcade mode.
Btw gonna guy the game... but tested the pirated one.
