It's a shame that these games are so few and far between in the gaming industry that they hardly ever get the actual *story* part right. Anyone who thinks Heavy Rain has a good story needs to watch more movies. It's full of plotholes, the characters are uninteresting and it's completely unoriginal. Why the FUCK would they put on some has-beens or a player that plays for a lesser known Turkish club when they can put on the most popular and most highly praised player in the world? Messi is a global icon and he's one of two in the footballing world - unfortunately, PES has the other one.

I'll always buy Fifa no matter what. But the possibilities for next gen are really enticing. I'm hoping for a big overhaul on Fifa 15. Fifa 14 obviously won't do it because it'll be the crossover Fifa.
I really wish this myth that EA release the same game every year would vanish. To someone who knows nothing about football, or even knows the mere basics, it will look like that. To football fans, the yearly updates are MORE than worth the £40 asking price....

GTA V itself is enough compensation
Fifa is the one constant; the only game that delivers year after year. I would pay double the price every year if I had to, it's just that good. Very few things beat Fifa with friends.
All versions of Dante (and every other Devil May Cry character ever) suck. I play Devil May Cry for its fast-paced gameplay and action, not for its masterful character development and insightful story. If you want good characters, go watch a movie, or a good TV show, or read a book. Action video games aren't the medium for that.
