We are way to dependent on linux/unix os's. Most of our stoves, watches, bathroom scales, tv's, toasters, home theatre amplifiers, anyotherappliance is running off of either Linux or Unix. Windows 7 will not be 'the linux killer'. It just won't happen.
And to whoever above stated that companies will never switch to Linux/Unix because it 'doesnt work'... apparently you've never heard of freeBSD, Red Hat, or SuSE. When it comes to server software, Linux/Unix takes the cake.
