Not counting the OS is fine since you can always use Linux.
Nice build, but I would swap the Athlon X2 for a Athlon II X2. Use any SB700 series Gigabyte motherboard (with the 2oz copper layer). Go for a certified 80 plus PSU. A Western Digital Black edition HDD. And an ATI HD 4670 gpu.
I just bought something along those lines for exactly $400 (after rebates but before Bing cashback) from Newegg.
Phenom II X2 550 BE Callisto 3.1 GHz 80W
4GB (2x2GB)...
On a $400 system? I don't know about that.
Rather it be a trophies patch for MGS4.
Guild Wars (either 1 or 2) would be nice. I've been trying to move away from PC gaming so I'd definitely try a free to play MMO on the PS3.
I'd just hope the development is lead on the PS3.
I think it's one of those knockoff that tries to look like the real thing to fool unsuspecting parents.
Apparently they have 5 reviews...and ended up Metacritic. Pathetic.
And you haven't pirated a single game on yet? Impressive.
@NJShadow
Of course, just like how Christmas isn't just about presents.
Once you have an easy medium (bittorent & memorystick over B&M store & UMD) for piracy, I think its just too appealing for a lot of people to resist. Sure some start with home brew and emulators, but I doubt many would stop there.
I would be more than happy with subs.
I just love the art style. Its the same Korean artist that did it for Magna Carta.

Yeah, Sony just said they had something to announce, and everyone just started speculating. If its something big, these sites pat themselves on the back, else they blame Sony.
@ofx360
Not if Metacritic keep on including short reviews from unknown sites like Absolute Games and Teletext GameCentral that are way below the mean.
"The statement you are looking for starts at 6 minutes and 45 seconds into the video."
Very coincidental review of Fracture, it just got price dropped everywhere on both platforms to $20. Might just pick it up now.
As long as the Western version has Japanese audio I'll be happy, they used some great voice actors for Yakuza 2 and it looks like the third one will top it all.
What is with all this "mark my word," I doubt anyone is going to remember it one way or the other when the game ships. I think I wanna see more, like some mature hands-on and previews, before deciding whether this goes into my wish list.
I stopped reading after the first run-on sentence.
It really ticks me off when MS uses money not to fund games but rather to prevent games from reaching other consoles. This is not good for the industry. I'd rather have them use the money to make a sequel to one of their franchise or to keep one of their internal studios.
Big difference for Heavy Rain is that Sony funded development, so the title may never have come to light otherwise.
