nice title.
I wasn't aware of apple being the only company to be using DDR3 memory in their laptops. I honestly had no idea, so I hopped over to dell's website. Guess you are wrong.

but didn't get a key until today!
I had to change the SATA connections on my motherboard because there was a conflict that prevented the installation. Odd considering XP was installed twice on this computer.
I'm using the 64-bit version and so far everything seems to be running very well.
I remember getting FarCry as a bundle with my new motherboard/processor, and I was amazed with the environments, etc. HL2 was a lot of fun, but it was very linear. I guess I am just more of a fan of the open gameplay of FarCry. Even if the story lacked....
I watched the streaming version...so it's pretty low res...but the game looks like a lot of fun... Never played it on the XBOX so....
Haha, those days were before my time as a gamer, but that is an excellent example of how games are defined by much more than their graphics.
I remember playing duck hunt as my first game, and come on, who didn't love duck hunt? No one can tell me it had amazing visuals, though it sure was fun! I play games to have fun and enjoy myself, and I wish others could agree that the most important part of gaming is having fun.
That being said, I hope all PC/360/PS3 own...
Your comparison to HL2 is spot on. It goes even deeper than what you mentioned because in HL2 AND Oblivion the visuals of a gaming PC are better than EITHER the 360 or PS3.
As far as I can tell Oblivion looks great on any platform, and in reality, isn't it the story and magnitude of the world that make this game great?
If I wanted amazing visuals with limited engagement I would play Gears or Motorstorm, which are both visually more impressive, but lack the R...
Something looks wrong with the color/contrast level on the TV/Monitor used to capture these videos. Not just for the PS3 but also for the Xbox 360, why so light and why so dark respectively? Something isn't hooked up correctly?
I always see the same thing from Game Trailers though. I know for a fact that when I watched the GeOW vs R:fom on GTs I was like wtf happened to Resistance? I had just finished playing it on my bravia on default settings and it looked MUCH better than the GTs ...
Haha, I wasn't aware of the first one(s), C64 and PS1 (same version, just C64 on PS1?)....yeah pretty much out of my time as a gamer, didn't really start playing video games until I bought a PS2...thanks for letting me know.
I noticed that too, I thought I was seeing things. Good to know I'm not going crazy.... :)
This game looks like a lot of fun. I have to admit I was disappointed when I heard the single player was dropped. However, I find myself playing the online portion of shooter games more than the single player anyway. Halo 1&2 and SOCOM 2&3 are a few of the games that I could have played without single player and still have been perfectly happy.
Have you ever heard of Station.com? Check it out sometime. Sony is behind many MMORG style games, not just Everquest, I would guess they have some experience in the online department. JPOD knows what's up....
Here is your link:

"The PS3™ system supports voice / video chat. Additional chat options, such as in-game chat, may be available through game software. For details, refer to the instructions supplied with the software in use."
Supports both in game and out of game video/voice chat via Friends icon on the XMB.....
You side stepped pretty much everything that I said, but I love your conspiracy theory regarding the black xbox 360. I have heard the exact opposite actually....but hey at least we can both agree on the fact that at the moment it is nothing more than a rumor.
If you think that Home is nothing more than a 3d chat room then you are mistaken. Chat is one aspect of Home, but it's not the only thing Home offers to its users. By the way, PSN also supports video chat, and wait.... ye...
"Horse Armor" that the PS3 CANT do. btw"
?????? Have you been living under a rock? The memory issue RUMOR was shot down by Bethesda reps. It's obvious you are a 360 fanboy, so I am confused as to why you are looking at a news article regarding Playstation Home in an attempt to put down the PS3. Jealousy? Fear?
I own a PS3, but plan on buying a 360/PS3 want to be (Black, larger hard drive, HDMI)when Fable 2 and Halo 3 come out... if said 360 is ev...
Hah, fanboys... I find it kind of sad that these forums aren't more objective...I guess that eye for an eye is the way this world works...even in the gaming world.
That is a good question, I don't think the 360 is any better or worse than the PS3.
As far as Sony fanboys go, they don't trash and spam the 360 anymore than the 360 fanboys slam the PS3... from what I have seen, I think the 360 fanboys are more aggressive, theMart=case in point.
This being said, I still think the numbers prove nothing more than the fact that the xbox 360 has been released on a larger scale for a longer time. Any further arguments skew the numbers to reflect...
You are assuming that because the xbox 360 has sold 9.36m vs PS3 2m that this shows the PS3 is not doing as well as the 360? I fail to see your point. Have you forgotten that the 360 had a year head start? Or perhaps you have neglected to remember the fact that the PS3 hasn't even launched worldwide?
I think to get a more accurate comparison you should look at monthly sales. The 360 has been available for roughly 15 months, and the PS3 about 3, notice I said roughly. This equals a...
I think POG missed the point.
@POG- Thanks for confirming. I no longer think you missed the point, I know you did.
