It really isn't imperative issues. This won't affect any purchases or the like. I suppose all it shows is that occassionally PlayStation can suffer FPS issues in a very small amount of games. Not really an issue, unless your invested in this "console war"
Definitly not true, backwards compaibility is a staple of any console. When discuss with people I know about purchasing a new console, the first thing they ask is "does it play xbox/ps3 games?". It's important because most gamers don't want to start over with a completely new library, costing much more money than buying older games.
I can't imagine the Xbox version really looks THAT bad. I mean, cmon, Bethesda has a marketing deal with Microsoft, they wouldn't allow them to have a mid 20 frame rate. Getting the PS4 version (for Vita support), but since my friends play on Xbox mostly, really hoping this isn't the case. Just gonna have to wait and see I guess.
Lol don't look at the internet if you don't wanna hear about it nobody asked you to click on it
It's business. If you want every game, no questions asked, you need every platform. That's how it worked 10 years ago, 20 years ago, that's how it works now
I like the benefits and game in PC as such, but I despise the elitist mindset so I rarely identify as a PC gamer
If Sony did this you'd be singing to a different tune lol
Not likely. Big releases would be 2016 at the soonest, and even then it's hard to imagine games like Super Mario Galaxy 3 and a new Metroid would be anytime near launch tbh
It doesn't change the fact that developers need to either restrict graphical elements on Xbox One, or lower the resolution
Probably just a statement to make sure people don't expect hearing it at PSX. Might miss that Spring 2015 mark after all, but I wouldn't be surprised if it launches in June with No Mans Sky
a lot of entitled gamers. They forget that many games today are built to simply look good. Here is a game valuing gameplay over graphics and yet people still complain? Hell it looks beautiful. Maybe a few games look better, but they never have the depth or scale
its a lot of money to optimize the game to the tech its on. Its basically the bare bones, "here is the game, take it if you want..". If people want even moderately want decent graphics after the gen has passed they have to move platforms. And deliberatly lower quality? No. There is no incentive to make a product worse, but also no incentive to make it look better.
Battlefront runs on a high end engine and that doesnt hit 900p. It really comes down to type of game, and graphical fidelty. After a certain point neither console can hit 1080p
Most?? Weird I dont remember 251 Remasters
Always weird seeing my local newspaper on N4G. Good to see support for games from them
VR will likely be limited at launch, with a small base, but games look great. Vita was the same way, and that is one of the greatest pieces of hardware ever. Just give us good games and gamers will buy!
Honestly I think Fallout 4 looks beautiful, it's just not quite as stylized as a lot of other games today. Textures look crisp, lighting is gorgeous, and models are insanely detailed. I mean to the best looking game of today, but definitely one of the best that isn't built upon a graphics over gameplay
Yeah but it all sells better on PS4, which means more FPS players on the platform
More gamers are on PS4 so I guess the statement is true. Also Sony is pushing hard for the FPS market with COD and SW: Battlefront
Look, 2018 would be a fine year to see the console's peak in popularity. I don't know why people have developed a mentality that consoles last 7-10 years suddenly. It's never been like that until the 7th gen and you can blame a good chunk on that of how graphics are getting harder to percieve change with (along with the economy). 2018 seems likely for new consoles, and it seems strange that people are taking one long generation as the standard.
