Call me crazy, but 10 years in... have they created a retail game that has the advertised feature gameplay. If not, why is the SC community so patient and nonlitegous?
...it would take about 3-4 days without sleep. That means no sleep, no detours, and almost no side stories, so please enjoy the game bit by bit, without losing any sleep. 100%
I rarely pre-order games, Like a Dragon is always a pre-order for me. Need to support my boys.
Star Citizen is a master class in gaming nerd graft.
12/26/29 - So I finally play Starfield. :-)
With this XBOX leadership team...good luck! #teamfail
100% agree... not perfect, but an engaging/refreshing experience.
Like another said, this is China, and that government follows its own rules. It could care less about human, moral, commercial, or international law. Be thankful you are not a citizen.
WB Games track record says NEGATIVE
And...this is why we get a CoD every year. We can bitch about it, but ATVI is too busy laughing as they deposit their yearly billion.
Secret Invasion... tear forms...
Got this game with my Xbox system bundle. Enjoyed it! A 7.0 imho.
Yes, DIS is getting WAY too much. I know about these deals. You pay a MG up front (500k to 5m) to use the license. Then the royalty after recoup of dev costs is 5-15% depending on IP and if Marvel has a supporting film.
Very true... Hoping Starfield copies their redemption. Cyberpunk finally taught me (Like a Dragon excluded) never to pre-order an open world game again.
I am not confused, one use case (for this price) is unacceptable.
So the Portal is for the person who has their PS5 hooked to one TV that is household shared right? What are the other use cases?
250 developers on it and they STILL can't deliver on the promise post-launch?! Cyberpunk 2077 vibes here. Starfield in Sept 2024 is (maybe) when the fun starts...
Also, Bethesda had/has considerable resources from the XBOX side that were not used to the best effect. The XBOX team, in theory, has the top talent in production, art, design, engineering, QA and usability.
I work in the games industry, with some major titles on my CV. I am now nearly out of the rat race.
Frankly, the design and game cred egos on these development teams get in the way of actually applying data/research on what hooks and loops work. There are more than enough 3rd party game data points for Bethesda (Fallout/Skyrim - Hello!) and from the XBOX team on it (again seasoned veterans who underperformed) to have prevented this. Then to have a 200+ development team drip out ...
Slipping it this late... #poorplanning #poorcommunication #sony
