Your right but you have to also look at it for what it is. Just as Halo is for MS, Grand Turismo is for Sony.
So when you see Halo games with a 9.0 or higher meta score its pleasing isnt it? Its the top of the top.
But then you come over to sony and see their top gun scoring a 8.5, I know by 0.5 but even that can say a lot when we are looking at the best of the best.

Maybe thats not the reason for you, perhape you just just enjoy the war like battles and feeling found in the single player modes. MP cannot recreate that feeling of pure epicness when fighting alongside your allies. For some reason it feels empty. Im not bashing MP though because I do enjoy it but I prefer Single over MP for the story.
Personally I think you may enjoy Star War BattleFront 1,2, and 3 (whenever they decide to make it >.>)becasue those games replay war...

I think the reason for them dislike or hating Halo is because its the 360 fanboys trump card. So PS3 faboys are looking for a single game that can overcome what Halo had done in the past (what it does now just doesnt have the same effect of what the first had).
Its like a war, and the individual games play the battles.
Its not only amazon, well maybe they added the $25 deal, but there are other similar PS3 bundles being sold exclusivly at different places such as Best Buy and Gamestop (GOW).

Being wrong when you have low expectatations will make you happy unless the results completely bombed O.o
If you have really high expectations yet the result didn't go so well then you feel stupid.
Just remmeber that not all games will be distributed online. Recently one of the best games for the PSP was released but only on UMD. Kingdom Hearts if your a fan, but there could be other games.

4 gigs worht of space isnt much, having to buy extra usb and or external hardrive is just more money down the drain, paying 60 for online is once again more money.
It all adds up, unless you have money flowing out your pockets and dont keep track of it.
I cant see how they can sell something with 4 gigs of memory for $160....

lol who knows, but I do agree with you. It does seem as if the majority of reveiwers want it to be something else whereas those who comment about playing it love it to no end.
Its hard for fanboys to be content about scores when the oposing fanboys looks for the slightest reasons to bash the games. Even if some succumb to trying to be content with everything you have 360 (stealh) trolls making the game appear as its less than what it really is.
Like someone else stated in the IGN reveiw comments...People will not remember that GT5 is a 10/10 simulator, but a 5/10 driving game.

That really looked fun, I only got a chance to try the bird hitting game, and it wasnt very fun. That would deffinitly appeal to kids, yet somehow I find this drawing game pretty enjoyable.
