have this game since yesterday and to unlock all the features and really knowing the complete game with all the options will take even the best drivers at least a week 24/7...
some pple might even never unlock all the extreme/profesional stuff.
there is just no way that some busy editors who have several job stuffs to do to get even close to a good insi...
well sony is counting on them migrating to ps3 because of GT5. thats the point isnt it? else it wouldnt be considered to be a system seller...

srsly? as far as ive read its 10x the polygons of gt4 cars for standard. and gt4 was in 1080i. as well that standard has the same amount of polygons which all cars in forza have.
so according to your logic:
all forza car graphics = crap = 800 standard cars of gt5
well i wont even go into the issue of rest carpark of 200 premiums alright?...

1st of all put the feature list of forza vs gt5 against each other. if u want facts then plz show them...
2ndly yes we all know that it will be compared to forza but unrightfully so. why? because forza is i think consideres as a racing GAME, like video GAME, while GT5 is the one considered beeing a racing SIM ok? like simulator, like realism... those who do not see this are...

but if GT5 does live up to the features list ive seen and doesnt have some major bugs/failures imo it deserves a 10/10 for reaching a new standard in racing games.
so if it does deliver but gets nitpicked to a lesser score it would be quite a shame for the ign review editors. comon: red dead redemption got a 10. if GT5 delivers it should too...

ur correct in the way that most of the time early adopters are from the share of core gamers. but i didnt say that kinect buyers are equal or limited by early adopters.
its more likely that ms "overruled" the usual development of early adopters - core/casual - late adopters by using such a huge amount of commercials and their marketing campaign (at least here in europe ...

i agree with that but there is a very big flaw in ms logic:
doing that means what exactly?
1. it means they share the same target group as nintendo. how much time ahead does wii have on sales now? 4 years? 5? the "casual" gamer market-share is close to saturation or the actual growth of that market is much slower than 2 year...

in my opinion all the comparisons lack something. for me as a "casual" gamer its of no interest at all. i have no problem to out myself as non hardcore gamer. in fact the only games i do play or did play recently were sc2 and some of the ff franchise.

i got my ps3 for 2 reasons and 2 reasons alone (considering gaming). first was ff13 which was enjoyable and second was GT5. so note that: it plainly doesnt matter which game is rated how on...
u know that u are comparing 2 multiplatform games which are sold for xbox / ps3 AND PC to a ps3 exclusive franchise. on top of that its also a comparison between 2 fps'es to 1 racing simulator...
what would be way more significant is to compare the games to the overall installbase of accessable platforms and even to the average userbase of a certain genre.
if you'd do that you'd very probably find out that the cod/mw franchise has way lower game/i...
u guys are forgetting something. if you take the holiday season finance report into consideration its a MUST for sony to get GT5 into the market DIRECTLY before the 1st advent = saturday the 26.11.+27.11.
cuz with this window the whole GT5 sales will be counted into the holiday business without loosing saledays. just another way for the sony accounters to polish their financial report. you never know, maybe the game was already rdy and done for nov 2nd but then someone decide...
wether or not future FF games will be multiplat is up to the x360 sales. and i do not think that ff13 will outsell on xplat compared to the ps3 version. if i had both systems i still wouldve bought it on ps3. its kinda like tradition. the past 5 ff main series sologames (6 if you cound ffx-2) have been on ps only. no reason to change it now...
