Sure it is lol
Phil never hand a plan to begin with, has no idea how to do anything revolutionary for the industry and for the most part his statement contradict each other all the time, he speaks like an over glorified clown for the most part.
Again, I have never seen an executive talk more than Phil Spencer.
If there were half as many actual actions as talk the XBOX wouldn't be where it is today.
They do care, they just know that they have no chance of beating Sony nor Nintendo.
Phil made these statements just to save face since they know the outcome before the generation even starts. Their approach of releasing a new hardware contradicts their statement, at least for the upcoming generation.
I don't think I've seen an executive talk more than Phil Spencer whereas others let their actions speak for themselves.
There was never a need to buy the next XBox unless you're a die hard fan.
Even 2 years Down the line, I don't expect enough worthwhile exclusives that would justify owning an XBox. I hope to god no one mentions the typical trinity that every single XBox thread will include: Forza, Gears and Halo.
Even with the latest acquisitions, Microsoft has had a history and a habit of ruining every game studio they acquire over time.
Even o...
Of course Microsoft would say that, after all they could never beat nor even compete with Sony nor Nintendo.
What better way to save face ahead of the next gen. Tells you a lot about their expectations ahead of time.
At the end of the trailer you can clearly see "Death Stranding is a trademark of Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC"
Sony owns the rights to Death Stranding so basically it is a PlayStation exclusive.
I'm almost done with Claire's scenario and all I can say is that this is one of the best survival horror games since the PS1 days.
It's just Microsoft's way of doing things, they're too arrogant and full of themselves and they think that they're the only ones who know how a certain industry is going.
Their rigid mentality and approach is why I think they are the cancer of the gaming industry. I do give them credit for shaping the multiplayer experience during the XBox 360 time. However, their only reason for pushing their gaming as a service vision forcefully down gamers' throats is...
That's strange, I could have sworn that's all that Phip has been babbling aince 2013.
Phil is just a reflection of what Microsoft gaming division is and what gaming is to them.
I may be wrong and I really hope that I am but this will yet be another dry E3 for XBox with the same undelivered promises their fans have been hearing since the launch of the XBox One.
I just don't understand how anyone can still believe a word Microsoft says when it comes to gaming.
How many times have people heard him spill out the same nonsense over and over with nothing to show for it?
I guees XBox fans are just satisfied with third party games and no worthwhile exclusives and please don't tell me this Forza, Gears and Halo.
I went from owning every console on the market every generation to completely skip...
I can't for the life of me understand how anyone can even expect anything decent from Microsoft when it comes to gaming.
Instead of focusing on pushing out quality exclusives they "THINK" the PlayStation brand won this generation by pure specs only. The result? Push out the XBONE X instead of focusing on any sort of quality exclusives.
Every studio that Microsoft even remotely associates with ends up producing a let down of a title simply be...
Sony is putting out incredible exclusives faster than I can play them.
There goes my life lol
Beat? You mean compete or perhaps keep up with.
As for beating the PS5, as with every generation before it that's a far fetched dream for Microsoft.
