It's not so much the game as it is the context. You're killing people, students, who can't fight back. There is nothing enjoyable about a game like that and we should not promote that type of action in any way, game or otherwise. You can argue freedom of speech, but this isn't about speech it's about decency and humility. Not really a rumor, more of a reasonable suspicion. If they keep with the 5 year rule, then its definitive. They need to if they hope to keep their fanbase. (I'm not nearly as interested in Skyward Sword as I was in Twilight Princess). They also need to be more friendly to third party developers too (their policies for development and publishing suck).

This is obviously false. Nintendo is known for making brave leaps, but this is like leaping off a cliff. They need to refine the new concepts they've already created, not delve into new ones that will not win them any preference. I'm expecting the next Wii to be what the SuperNintendo was for the NES - better controls, better graphics. HD and DVD support is a given, as is on-board harddrive.
