... put it better myself!! I was considering buying a 360, once they get the hardware issue sorted (RROD, Noise Levels), but now i don't think i'll even bother! PS3 will totally own 2008 in every single way, my prediction is that Microsoft will announce a new console by the end of 2008 or 2009...

... HD Freeview over ariel anytime soon, I think the latest plan is to provide it via Freesat (freeview satelite service in the UK).. Below is the latest as of December 13 2007. I don't think i'll be investing in one of these just yet, good idea but I don't think it will take off as anyone who uses the PS3 as their media center will have a certain amount of inteligence and do their research.

Oh, and I much prefer putting the files on a USB HDD rather than streaming, don't like leaving my PC on all the time, so this isn't an issue for me. Also, given that I can stick a nice 300Gb+ HDD in my PS3 I should be able to build up quite a collection.
