i will have to go with take-two and valve. ubi games are good but not a lot of variety as EA and their attitude towards PC gamers is very bad. Take-two do a good job of letting the devs take their time to release a product.
when half-life 3 is comes out. lol
playing ME1 again right now just to have different outcomes in ME3
and i thought the 100$ for a car(think it's koenisegg) for NFS world was pathetic.
had they ironed out 99% of the bugs, they could have have concentrated on making good DLC(snow-maps) etc. imo the game lacked polish. hackers don't bother me, as i often see them getting kicked out immediately(on PC). btw what is "rubber arms"?
agreed. graphics doesn't need to improve much next-gen but the physics definitely need to get better. both environments and characters(hair and cloth).
lol i didn't know about that. who is that rapper?
everytime i read burger i chuckle a little. btw i am still hoping fillion gets the role.
yeah right. it's just for advertising purpose. many regret that they bought the Ra.One game. another half-assed shoddy 'game'. don't know if u can call it that. Game development in india has a long way to go.
programming job at Boeing? i thought they use services of other companies for software.
if only i could go back 4 years. though game programming interested me a LOT i chose mechanical engineering :( now i pursing MBA degree. oh well atleast i am playing games :D
a cameo appearance by supes.
yeah.. news flash- they will tease gta 6 trailer in gta 5.
not sure. the size of the game files are increasing every 2 years or so. there are lot of details that can be added to the next-gen games(graphics, physics and voice acting). also people with bandwidth cap can't download many games. sure the connection speeds may increase but downloading a 30-40gb game might take too long.
@andreasx i know about reactive armor. but the enemy didn't equip it. he had autoloader+zoom optics+ coax lmg.
who is WHOIS?
agreed. i rpg'd a tank 4 times but couldn't disable it at all. same with helis. most of them have IR flares+ heat seekers and play as engineer. they easily avoid locking using flares and when they do get hit they fly away and land to repair it comfortably.
i'm currently playing ME1 on PC. enjoying it though i often feel that the graphics have become dated and the shooting mechanics aren't that good. planning on playing max payne 1 as well.
Dx9 is still great for games- the Witcher 2 is a good example. i think it will be the baseline for PC graphics at least for 2 more years.
a top 10 PC game list without mentioning the most successful PC exclusive game of 2011 - witcher 2.
