We always had PS3 since launch days, back in 2006. However, most people tend to go for Xbox 360 here because it is already pirated and government taxes drives gaming prices sky high.

Seriously - a standard PS3 model, in the US, cost as much as 300 bucks. Make it five, maybe six hundred if you think Collectors Edition of any sort.

What would you say if I told that a standard model, here in Brazil, cost as much as US$650,00 MINIMAL? A game like...let's see...Uncharted ...

No disagreement there...you got no idea how tough it is to make a living out of brazilian gaming journalism because of our old politics. Taxes are prohibitive here, but we're doing our best.

Currently, there's an online petition aimed at one of our Deputies, in whose hands rests a law project for tax reduction on game industry. You can find out more on the link below:

Wah-wah-wah, yada-yada-yada...

You typed and typed and typed and all I could read was "Thompson fanboy".

Of course children are not little adults and of course JT can't do anything about parents who buy M-Rated and Adults Only branded games for their 9-year-old son.

But you know something? Neither he SHOULD do anything about it. Why? Because you can't. teach. people. to. raise. children. Parents are the only ones responsible for the gird of the...

They already have...in GTA IV.

There's this lawyer who even tried to sue God because, according to the game's online newspapers, He made it rain on a given day where a whole lotta people came out prejudiced.

Rockstar never admitted, though, but it does sound a lot like something good ol' Jackie would do.

In the game, the lawyer's name is Goldberg, I think...

He's all around, 100%, church -going Christian. What else'd you expect?

So, here he comes again...love the fact that he shows up saying absolutely nothing and still manages to hype people - myself included...

Come on, guys, JT is the best entertainment option we've got, hands down.

I've never loved laughing my boxers off everytime he shows up. It's even funnier the fact that his own son plays GTA...AT HOME. Jack himself admitted this while interviewed in a magazine.

Nobody, I mean nobody takes him too serious. I'm waiting for the day when US government will ban him for complete foolishness because he keeps annoying people for no reason. That used to be irritating: now it ...

I think the best question would be "How the next Nintendo console would fare?" - since Microsoft and Sony started to pick up big chunks of the world market but probably won't make it in time to overcome Nintendo's tiny little white monster.

I think the real console wars are bound to start at next generation...

UFC, as said above, needs to fix those grapple maneuvers. That being said, I tend to choose Undisputed since it won me in the long run back in 2009.

Also, I've been checking out some media of EA's title...I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I can't help the fact that I see it way too...strange...I don't know hot to explain, really.

From my eyesights (which are at top condition, before people start flaming me), EA Sports: MMA's fighters look more "fat" tha...

I couldn't agree more, @BeaArthur. Although its the least hardware-developed console for this generation, it already has the heart of the japanese places, and many american houses (and brazilian, since I live in São Paulo) own a Wii because of its family gaming appeal.

However, I don't consider the Wii a competition do Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. I mean...they are completely different markets: I don't see myself playing addictively on Wii as I do on PS3/Xbox 360, but my girl...

I'm not a law speciallist here, but I don't see how can Activision win this one. I mean, sure, they can say IW heads were in talks with EA (or any other publisher for that matter), but hey, that's no sin as long as people know they were fired first.

I wouldn't mind talking to other publishing companies if the bosses on my magazine decide to cut me out of the staff. In fact, there would be nothing wrong with it.

From my point of view (again, I'm just guessing here), A...

Thanks, man! It's about time we do something about it...

Brazil is the only place where the industry already have all the necessary resources to become a full-fledged gaming market, but we need these actions in order to make the government help us have that kick-start.

We, no, I, personally, as a gamer and a journalist, appreciate your comment.

So, MSN Games Brazil is a Microsoft website. So what?

Just in case you didn't notice, they have sections named under all platforms, which means they work with multiplatform content. Have you read their texts or you're just judging by their logo? They don't seem to favour Microsoft stuff. At least, not wide open.

Did you even bother to take a look at the website archives? It even has iPhone-related games. And I'm talking about reviews, and giving them good credit. You...
