I've never considered any game itself to be Hardcore/Casual, it's always been about the player, and how dedicated/passionate they are about a select game(s).
Take 'Snake' for example, on the old Nokia mobile phones, simplistic little game designed for 5 minutes of fun, but I spent hours setting higher and higher scores.
So I wouldn't really say that your game library determines whether or not you're hardcore, but more your attitude and...
Total bullshit. I haven't raged this hard at a game since Gears of War, the Blue Shell can go fuck it's face.
Gamers today don't care about games, Now it's all numbers. Sales figures, timed exclusives, frames per second, resolution, etc.
Nobody cares about games any more.
One need only take a glance at the outrageous amount of remastered/revised/re-imagined /re-anything'd-for-a-quick -cash-grab games out there to get their answer.
There is nothing on either system worthy of that price tag.
Or they could just dump the entire service as it's a load of garbage and no one with a bit of sense will get much use from it.
I'm interested but I'm still not entirely sure what the player is 'supposed' to be doing.
Exploring new Worlds and discovering new life sure sounds hella fun, but I can't help but think it will get a little boring if there isn't anything to actually..., well, do.
The Wii U's biggest advantage is having games actually worth playing.
No game is perfect, 10/10 is absolute nonsense.
The Entitled Generation.
It looks like a vagina.
Sony would have a mascot if Activision would get off their arses and make a proper Crash Bandicoot game.
Anyone else really enjoy the opening cinematic with the astronauts? It had such a 'Huge step for Mankind' vibe, personally My favourite part of the beta actually, lol.
Isn't that like saying an Nvidia user can't play with an AMD user? Or for that matter, an outdated card can't play with a more updated card? Little silly if you ask Me, there was HUGE potential for Bungie to pull off something special here, especially when you consider they're getting everything else with Destiny right.
There will always be hardware advantages, ones that extend beyond just what your frame-rate is. How quickly the image can travel from your rig...
Love the logic of disagreeing with a question. Only on N4G.
How many people genuinely care if a game runs at 1080p/60fps?
There's only 2 problems with PC gaming;
1) Console exclusives.
2) Horrible ports.
When the article speaks of a non-console winning the console war, I believe the irony is the point. The PC is doing what the consoles are trying to, and better.
Oh, they are worried.
In the past few weeks they've been 'betrayed by Bungie' a few times.
People claiming that this is a bad game truly have no clue what a bad game is.
I've S-ranked every mission in every game (except 2 because it's garbage) and yet I find the rebooted character, game world, and combat to be superior to the classic.
I mean, if you want to hate on a DMC, hate on 2. Easily the worst of them all.
More click-bait shite from N4G, standard.
