They actually showed 9 solid exclusives 3 of which are coming out this year, not to mention a healthy mix of both exclusive and multiplat AAA and interesting indies. Which is exactly what Sony did as well. Basically both companies played it very safe this year, which isnt a bad thing nor a great thing.
Instead of showing an array of Multiplatform titles they could have used this time more wisely to show a solid AAA exclusive. In addition its a game that is coming out in 2014! What a miracle! They needed to show more core titles that are 2014'ers in order to convince people on why they need a PS4 in 2014 and not 2015. Seeing Driveclub at E3 would have been a nice reminder to Sony fans and potential buyers to the system.
Damn All these games were really proped up for E3 but developers are realizing the limiatations of the BOTH consoles now. Or sadly they always knew but have been lying about what these systems can do.
Nobody was purchasing this game for the Campaign, I believe that was pretty obvious.
Great Review, very accurate thus far
This article contains several errors regarding the what Twitch isnt bringing to the Xbox One. Watch this clip and see exactly how not only will Twitch be more than 50% operational on day 1 of the launch, but Skydrive will be as well. Skydrive will essentially do everything Twitch does, and more! See this link below to get the real facts, that unfortunately this writer didnt want to tell us.
Looks like a great experience
Great Review! Scoring very well overall
cant wait for my X1
Yes but you wont be getting the only home console with an HDMI In slot for cable boxes and surround sound systems as well as a 1080p motion capture device that can monitor you're hear beats, record you're movement and understand you when you speak to it. Plus all the exclusive killer titles such as Titan Fall, Dead Rising 3, Ryse:Son Of Rome and much more.
PS Plus does offer a great service in terms of rewards, and Sony has definitely come leaps and bounds from the early years with the PSN trust me! I was there since launch day, and those were some mean years. That aside unfortunately whether you're a fanboy or not on either side, the fact remains that Sony is giving you a "pay to rent" model and labeling it as "FREE". I'm sorry but the definition of FREE means absolutely free, not paying each month to keep it "...
Great prediction, very valid points as well
Very Good article
I love this comment because it is the exact thing our gaming community needs to hear nowadays to hop off the bandwagon of fanboyism and the obsession with company numbers. The PS3 last generation had a more powerful graphical capability yet it was Microsoft's strong marketing, and superior online capabilities that won that generation. And now both companies this generation need to focus on the indie development as well as strong line up of first and third party titles to be successful. Wh...
Thanks guys for the feedback, really appreciate it. I do understand you're concerns with Skype's past cooperation with our US Government and with all the crazed media focus on the Edward Snowden NSA leaks, I feel alot of people are in a hyper paranoid state right now. The fact is every company from our cell phone providers all the way to our credit card companies all report our information to intelligence agencies around the country. This is a growing concern among many, unfortunatel...
This is a sad story to say the least. Instead of being a typical fanboy and worrying about competition from a company that has no direct effect as you the gamer, you would rather hope another company fails for a system you have no intention of buying anyway. Sony or Microsoft do not pay any of your Rent or Cell phone bills, or Hospital bills, so please stop riding either of their Laps as if they are. At the end of the day neither company cares whether you live or die all they care about is yo...
Thanks for all the feedback guys, really appreciate it!
@NewMonday Im sorry but 90% of these titles are 8-16 bit indie games that I did not spend $400-$500 to play. For that I can hook up my SNES or Genesis. We needed to see actual 2014 AAA exclusive Sony games.
