I didn't pay any of these because I didn't have PS2 that time... but heard a lot about these two games so I'm definitely getting them...

I think it will be too much to rewrite a new OS for PS3 which runs the games as well (GoogleTv runs on Android->Linux). PS3 can run GoogleTV easily as PS3 with older firmwares was capable to run linux os. With the dual boot PS3 looses the usability, only few would like to have dual boot idea. I think there will lot of apps (music, videos, pictures, etc) going to release, and some point browser update (replacing with chrome), and flash player update...Sony talked about non game SDK for dev...
that's the fate of any new hardware... but don't worry.. spending of 500 million$ it will sell good in first few months.. after that gamers will decide if it is really worth of something... I am really in doubt and I am not going to pick it until next year when we really know what really this is...
Sony started this with eyetoy, and then microsoft make it much better, now it needs just a perfection and maybe Pseye2 will make it just perfect -> that's my prediction :)
Xbox is not lead nor pc and ps3. My theory is xbox is easier to develop so it is getting beta test first, then second will be PC and lastly PS3. It is not that PS3 is not good. It is well known that PS3 got very powerful but quite complex architecture. You can make great games out of cell processor but if only if you got a good programming team, otherwise you will be suffering.

The problem with Sony is they take bet on latest technologies. Taking optical media in game consoles first time until Bluray. Lot of propaganda that Sony owns Bluray.. well it is consortium where more than 12 multination companies are leading it. Sony did the Move, and all the media started ranting with it is copy of Wii whereas Kinect is a revolution (what? didn't we have the eyetoy). The problem is there are lot people bios in media and lot of fanboys.... for everyone's information...
