CD Project Red have my money. They definitely know how to create rich experiences!
I don't see how these specs are too far-fetched for some people. An AMD 8 Core CPU clocked in at about 2.0GHz, and 8GB DDR3/4 + 32/64MB of eDRAM. The GPU I can't quite put my fingers on. We'll see.
In the end it shouldn't cost an arm or a leg honestly.
360 users didn't get a taste of TW2 till April of this year. Though yes, it pretty much is a last year title.
*Edit*: Damnit Hydra! D: lol
But that's exactly the problem. Not all developers are given the time, budget, and manpower to develop games like Naughty Dog and Guerrilla Games. They are first-party developers that are backed by a blank check from Sony.
Small independent developers are put in a bad position when developing for multiple platforms because of PS3's more complex architecture. CD Project Red said they would have had to split their programming team to work on both the PS3 and Xbox 360. ...
Wow. This comment is wrong on so many levels I'm having trouble even trying to come up with something to say.

Not just any "man". Carmack is the most well known programmer in the industry. I'd definitely take his word for it. Sure RAGE had its problems on consoles, but it doesn't take away what he has done in his career.
I'd be nice if XBL were free. But the fact it continues to grow only shows MS that people don't really mind paying for it. If that's the case, then I don't think XBL will ever be free until the community just decided they had enough.
I mean I guess you can gather from these stats that it hasn't slowed down one bit. I still pray one day XBL will be free for everyone. But at this point, it's a long shot.
:O Well deserved! Journey's soundtrack is by far one of the best I've heard.
"Im starting to believe your an Xbox and Halo fan based on your message."
What's that suppose to mean? Yeah, I like the Xbox and I am a Halo fan. But if you're assuming I'm some hardcore fanboy who trolls, who have me mistaken. I just wanted to point out Halo 4 won a best graphics award. Didn't want to stir up another argument. lmao
How did you know Twisted Metal was on the list if you didn't read it? lol

For what it's worth, Halo 4 won best graphics at the VGAs this year. Though I guess I understand when you say "consecutively".
I would go absolutely crazy if they announced an Alan Wake 2! MAKE IT HAPPEN! :D
@ambientFLIER
In my opinion it just starts with the type of games we are talking about. With sports games, I suspect 1080p60. Fast paced FPS games, 720p60. 720p30 for games like say Uncharted or Gears where they are more known for they high quality characters, environments, and intricate texture detail.
720p/60FPS or 1080p/30FPS.
^ That's how I see it next-gen.
I don't even think XDR 2 exists except on paper and Rambus demonstration videos. I doubt it would be able to be mass produced in time for next gen consoles. Expect high quantities of GDDR3 or probably DDR4, or maybe a slight chance of GDDR5.
If you didn't like it, you didn't like it. Not much we can do to change your own opinion. Maybe play the game again and see if you still don't like it?
First video game soundtrack to be nominated for that category. That is quite an achievement. Well deserved!
Then keep on gaming, these apps aren't stopping you. Obviously these apps aren't for you, but they are convenient to other people who probably are not gaming for that day.
I believe it was Epic who convinced Microsoft to put in 512MB of RAM instead of 256MB. They told MS that Gears 1 would not be able to look/run good with just 256MB of memory.
No love for Trials HD-Evolution? Those games are REALLY addictive. The community created content itself makes it a really unique, fun title.
