I thought so too but Amazon isn't known for their April Fool's pranks and it is on a Tuesday.
Edit: Which is the same day as normal PlayStation releases.
Very helpful!
You realize though that you can't play DVDs or Blu-rays without the day-one patch: http://www.joystiq.com/2013...
Make sure to check full press release at bottom of page to see all the features that will be enabled with the patch.
Actually, the PlayStation blog is quite misleading. It's saying IF you update you will be able to do all those things.
If they had posted the FULL Press Release you would see that features like playing blu-ray/dvd are NOT capable without making a one-time connection to the internet.

I don't understand how they will provide free copies when the original problem was that they oversold. In regards to people who just ordered the Premium or Standard Editions that is probably possible but not for the Ultimate Songbird Edition unless they had a stock pile that they could have accessed to fulfill the original orders anyway.
Just talked to Best Buy about my order. It was cancelled and they have no further information at this time except that gift cards would be offered and that this wasn't a computer glitch. They oversold. This affects orders placed since January.
No disrespect to the series or those who love the series but I have always been underwhelmed with the next-gen versions of Ninja Gaiden. They've never brought anything new or innovative for me. I'm not a big fan of hard for the sake of hard games and this is definitely one of them. I knew that going into the series but was hoping for something more, alas, that wasn't the case.
Now a 3? They've never played like a 3. I would have given the first and second one...
This was originally supposed to be a Summer of Arcade title last year: http://www.otlgaming.com/po...
