You will not be able to play D3 on bnet without a valid cd key. Playing on bnet is the only way to go. Blizzard is and always has been a PC game developer. This game will never see the light of day on a console. How would you play this game on a console anyway? It is specifically made with a mouse and keyboard in mind.
Don't bring up Diablo on the PS1. There were maybe 1/10 of the skills in Diablo that will be in D3. Maybe. Gonna need a keyboard for this one.
the PS3 controller d-pad isn't good for fighting games either. get yourself a nice arcade stick for proper play.

Goldeneye has no business being number 1. It just doesn't compare to Half-Life 2 or Crysis and the N64 controller is a joke compared to the mouse/keyboard set-up. Halo better than Crysis and COD4? Not a chance.
And where the hell is Call of Duty 1? Call of Duty 1 was one of if not the best FPS ever made. Call of Duty 2 was great as well.
I would recommend this stick to anyone who wants a quality stick for only $60. I'm sure it's not up to par with a HARP but this stick gets the job done.

I have played and beaten every game you listed and yes GTAIV is better than all of them. Not the best game ever, but better than the games on your list. Of course, this is all opinion.
