Everyone asking for Resistance 4, meanwhile I'm just over here like "where's Fuse 2?" I realize the game was a commercial and critical flop, but I thought it was easily the best four player co-operative experience of the eighth gen.
When I still owned my One it was one of my most frequented titles to pick up and get a quick match in. Not every game has to have the depth or longevity of Battlefield 4 or Counter Strike to be a success. I sunk a few days of playtime into it as did most -- where some get off deeming that anything but a success is beyond me. The game sold well, so it was absolutely a commercial success. The game reviewed well, so it was a critical success. And the game was played rigorously by many for it'...
Seriously? What sensationalism. I'd say Microsoft and Sony were neck and neck, and Bethesda had the overall most entertaining presser.
You're a blind fanboy if you think the AI in The Last of Us was special. I loved the game, in fact I think it's one of the best of the last generation, but it's AI is simple-minded trash. You want good A.I.? Play F.E.A.R. or Halo.
Take a look at this video if you an overview of everything wrong with the game's AI.

Well it looks really good. Of course it's still AC ultimately, and Unity looked good as well, but something about this one is a lot more enticing to me.
Don't mean to be the voice of dissent, but I'm really hoping it's inFamous 4. In a world where most have abandoned the open world super hero game (R.I.P. Prototype and good Spiderman games), Sucker Punch continues to nail each iteration of inFamous and while Second Son definitely could have been better, now that Sucker Punch has acclimated to the hardware, they have time to focus on innovating rather than iterating this time around. I want at least one more inFamous from them to b...
From the info that's been leaked to Youtubers (and subsequently taken down) from the same source that leaked Ghosts the game actually sounds incredibly interesting. It involves time travel in the year 2167 (I think it was), and covers a wide breadth of different eras. The choice system is back and completely alters later levels. Supposedly a huge amount of work has gone into making the campaign a viable reason to purchase. The multiplayer is also split between WWII and future settings wit...
As much as what you've said is subjective, I too have noticed that Playstation gamers seem almost brain dead in comparison to Xbox players online competitively. Obviously this is not the case for all players, but as a general rule of thumb you can bet that almost any competitive shooter on Playstation is more difficult online on Xbox. Flame me if you want, I couldn't care less. I own and play a PS3, 360, Xbone and PS4.
Don't expect new consoles until 2018 at the least man (aside from the NX)
As a PS4 gamer I honestly think Microsoft has the better exclusives barring Uncharted 4 and BloodBorne and a better online interface to boot. But I can't wait for E3! It's going to be a good show.
I think Master Chief's story should end after 7. Halo has always interwoven Biblical symbology throughout it's narrative, especially when Bungie was at the helm. 7 is the Biblical number of completion, and I think it would be fitting to allow the main series to wrap up on the seventh installment, with further games in the series existing to explore the rich lore, ala Reach.
