Nintendo will never have the numbers, so regardless of Zelda's reviews - it will lose. They need to market the Switch for what it really is; a handheld. Once that is out of the way, they need to release a proper home console. (Never going to happen.)
I can't bring myself to be excited about this - It looks like a little kids game.
How exciting.. ..a port.
What if some of the mistakes have already been made?
So long as there are idiots, so too shall there be a market to accomodate them.
As much as I'd love to play Zelda, I can't justify an over priced underpowered Switch, to play one game.
A lot of dreaming going on here. 3/3.5 million worldwide first year - 4 if they are lucky.
Guess it depends on where your based - where I'm based in Aus, there's plenty of stock.
This was probably just to sway people still on the fence. If they are out to look at a console, chances are they will strike with the better overall value proposition.
Well, its weak hardware, not sure what people are expecting? By all means - get upset and neg. But that's the cold hard truth of Nintendo's stupid decisions.
The Nintendo Switch besides hardware quality and a couple of extra gimmicks, is basically the Wii U all over again. Sad.
This console is a year to late.
Saved me a click - cheers bud.
Sheesh.. For any logical people out there that want the true story check out Jewish uploader H3h3production's video here: https://www.youtube.com/wat... - Personally, I'm not a fan of PewDiePie, but rather than sound off like an idiot, I actually look past fake, over sensationalized headlines.
It's right around that time major third party studios will be announcing they won't be supporting it. Nintendo cheaped out. Should of made it more powerful.
My point still stands that these console upgrades are conveniently releasing to coincide with a new generation of TV's, tech etc. Most manufacturers are already pumping out 3rd generation 4k TV's. It's probably gonna take awhile until mass consumer adoption takes hold. But the industry has indeed moved on.
Not sure where you're from, but where I live, FullHD TV's have pretty much disappeared from the market and only 4K TVs are being sold in stores - you can get a 65" 4K TV for $500 some places. Don't think it's going to get much cheaper than that.
Considering everything else it's lacking, the web browser would be the least of my worries.
These upgrades are a once off. The 360/PS3 launched when FullHD was in its infancy. Due to the timing of the Xone and PS4 release, both consoles were lacking in technology that was right around the corner. They basically released too early before the rest of the industry could catch up and possibly price drops on certain components were available. The fact that they could only output up to 1080p looks silly when 4K TVs are quickly phasing out FullHD.
These 'deals' make it extremely easy for me to not spend my money.
