i believe all the ps3 fans are a pissed of because in all the reviews of Killzone 2 there was a statement "GREAT GAME BUT DOESN'T REINVENT THE GENRE". That was a very harsh statement that must be portrayed in the modern warfare 2.
this was an awesome game and has to be a game of the year nominee.if the industry can put a four hour expansion pack on that list then this game should have no problem
Is It me but i have been looking at MW2 and i have to say it looks very generic and the graphics are terrible
on the succes of uncharted 2 both on sales and reviews. iam not knocking VG Charts but didnt they say on Oct 11 that uncharted 2 exceeded 300,000 pre-orders for uncharted 2.(Seems strange that the exact amount of people preordered it got the game day one. dont forget that sony announced late Sep that uncharted got over 500.000 pre-orders, so its safe to say that ill wait for sony to officially announce the world wide sales for week 1.
Halo ODST
Shouldn't get over an 8 because it is an expansion, unoriginal, and designed from the same mediocre engine. just because the title says HALO doesn't mean it has to a 9 or above.
You know from a sales perspective i just thought of something:
For a $400 system the PS3 is selling great but for a $200 system the XBOX 360 is selling relative poor and thats why dent underestimate what the PS3 has done over the past 2 and bit years.
But not to say that the 360 hasn't done well.
First of all congrats to GG Gaming for getting a 92% meta score and eclipsing over a mil sold.
Second of all who hyped this game up, Die hard sony fanboys and you have to understand who this game appeals to. its rated MA15 which i imagine wont be bought by any 12 year old like halo 3 was.
Third, it come down to tastes, Iam not into first person shooters which i imagine way more than half the sony base is and that is wht i didnt by killzone 2, But my brother boug...

it all about established Franchises. They didnt advertise MGS 4 and it went on to sell 5 million. it all about your preferences.
First of Sony hasnt released official numbers for killzone 2 yet so we dont know how many copies sold yet, so this arrtical is flamebaiting like every other artical on N4G
Second I am a big sony fan and i didnt get killzone 2 becaue FPS dont interest me and there are others like me to so i dont really care how much a game i dont care about sold.

These numbers only represent the 1 1/2 days that killzone 2 was out and people these numbers are only from North America not the rest of the world and even if you wait for March NPD data its only going to give you American numbers.

Good to Killzone is doing great numbers and is still the best selling PS3 game on the market.

the 1.1 million pre-orders, pre-orded means that the game has been pre paid already and shipment orders are for the retail stores, so there is a difference.
These sales are wrong in that retrospective
has been out for 1 1/2 weeks so if the VGC data is rite "which it isnt", those are very good sales.
Also those 1.1 million Pre-orders were from the customers that how they could get that data so "iam not sure what to think.
i really hope good gaming websites crack down on modern warfare 2 because i believe this review is blinded by the title of the game. for what the media did to killzone 2, couldn't wait to bash on the game i wan the same to happen to MW2. Not to say that modern warfare doesn't deserve good reviews.
