I'm looking forward to this game, but I just hope that they've shorten or loose the loading times - They were too long in HL2 (played on high end PC back than). Now I'm getting this on console in a lovely packege they've made. Well job Valve.

All programs need to be approved by MS to run on x360. Millions of hackers can't break the protection and they are trying hard (xbox-scene, xbox-hacker...). This virus thing is LAME. If and when the protection will be breaked all the big newssites would write about it. Even this one.
Reply: All what millions of hackers did was to rewrite the firmware on the DVD drive, the chips also uses similar method to convince xbox the game is original. And MS is fighting against them -1st ...

The war has not even started. I guess it all depends on recorder price. When hd dvd/bluray recorders and empty media will be much cheaper in a couple of years (let's say around 200$ for recorder and 10$ for media) than the war will start. Whoever can lower their price faster that's the one who will win this war in my oppinion.
Mass Effect coming out in November, I'm not sure for couple of others too (Crysis, Assasins Creed).
The next gen starts when sony say's so.

x360 version is already apearing on multiple warez sites. I guess that x360 version is finished but 2kgames will wait till the ps3 version is finished and than will release them both. Thank you sony for another delay.

I doesn't require photorealism couse this aka next gen technology isn't capable of bringing it (just in my oppinion), so I'm atleast not fooling myself with thoughts it will be beter on ps3 WHEN it comes out. I can play this in a couple of months and play many other games before this game will be developed->released for ps3.

Avarage salary (working class) in my country is 1.000€ tax included(800€ neto). Price tag of ps3 here is 600€ (800$). The price tag is too high here. And where I live sony has sold more than 50:1 ps2 against original xbox. Now the situation is almost reverse and even without MS even officially selling it's console in our country. We can get it in few stores in capital city or jump to Italy (like I did) or Austria.

I think you are too optimistic about size - If there were more stadiums of course I would want them, but every stadium has to be built (drawn) and in 1 year (a cycle that this game is released) we can only see some of them. I'm saying that stadiums takes time to draw (and not as many size as 30 minutes of uncompreesed video). I would like to see each and every stadium if that would be possible. But I gladely would watch CGI compressed with h.264 and 5.1 wma comppresed sound at high bitrate if...
Let someone explain why the PC version of Pirates of Carribian takes 1,4GB? X360 version - 6GB
Why 4 Live Arcade games (released in a pack) takes 7 GB, while I own some of them on PC and they are less than 20 MB.
And as mentioned before someone show me 7GB version of Tetris in the PC world.

Because they fill the remaining free space with a lot of garbage data - why I don't know, maybe that the pirates have to buy more expensive DL DVD's ;)
Just take a look at Tetris released some month ago - It's more than 6GB :D
finally the games from sega will get graphic boost's - I just hate the old, choppy looks of most of sega games I've tried on x360 (sonic, snooker)
I've tried more than 50 times but the registration just didn't worked for me - and I'm not a moron.
Still - I wanted to play this really bad, but I would never give 40$ for beta game which will be out in 2 months.
