Poor games dont entice gamers either. Everyone knew this was going to happen. This is all Ubisofts fault.
Although I dont agree with the content in GTA, which is why i wont buy it, I have to say that prostitution is a fare cry from rape. Saying that showing sex in a game promotes rape culture is just as dumb as saying violence and sex in games is ok because "its just a game."
I agree but at some point developers need to start asking themselves how far is too far? Giving them complete amnesty to do what ever they want no matter how far they go without being checked is wrong. Banging hookers and getting a blow jog doesnt belong in a video game. But then again, teenagers are the ones playing so they would obviously state otherwise. Which shows the gaming industries immaturity and by immaturity i mean childishness. Making an entirely new game with current PC hardware and deciding to intentionally make it 480p sounds odd. I could understand if they made the option for both. I guess my gripe is, it doesnt take any extra work on their part to do 1080p. I'm developing a game with Unity 3d and it is literally a box that you check to set what resolution the game will run at. And Super Time Force looks AWESOME in HD!!!!
They have the money but that isnt the issue. Time is the issue. Nintendo is known for quality software and for a game the size and scope of Zelda to be done right, they need time. Miyamoto has talked about showing the game off several times in the past but they didnt feel the timing was right. Zelda is a franchise you should never expect to be a launch title or even a launch window title.

People seem to be forgetting that there is an option to play the game in its original aspect ratio.
The article isnt about Gamers buying a nintendo console and only a nintendo console, therefore not being able to play third party games. Its about Nintendo not needing third parties to survive as a company.
