It's good, but you CANNOT finish the Vampirism Cure quest in the game of the year edition. It's not a problem all that much because they add alternative ways to rid yourself of vampirism in the DLC that come with the GOTY edition.
EDIT: Performance wise, I cannot tell the different between the two console versions. I have played them both extensively and they are about the same, but neither hold a candle to the vanilla PC version. With mods, oh god, it's orgasmic....
1) The combat should be more like Mount & Blade. Amirite?
2) Oblivion characters were pretty darn ugly, but aside from the beggars (lawl), it didn't detract from the immersive effect.
3) As a PC gamer, I have the advantage of the FANTASTIC mods and was able to fix the oblivion menu. I think they should make a better menu, but allow mods for consoles somehow. Not sure if that is a limitation on Bethesda's part or Sony & MS, but it sure would be...
HOLY SHIT THAT'S HEAVY
EDIT: Oh god dammit PS360WiiRocks, stealing my joke. I resent the day you built that time machine.
Haha. Actually, it's a guaranteed failure.
The whole article was to talk about the nature of old school games, Halo being a controversial issue.
Might want to give the description below the title a read.
Bosses aside, and on the easier difficulties, I found that button mashing works.
We don't get paid for this... So, yes. The ads are just to pay off hosting costs.
This list is about what WE want people to FOR SURE get. Sure, Castlevania looks cool, but if we'd want people to buy game day 1, it would be these games.
It isn't. Writing about video game is really just a hobby for us.
$#@!#$%^*
Well, shit.
A bit of optimistic thinking on my part :). It's explained a bit why assuming the Feb release or before is somewhat valid.
The withdrawals are setting in D;
I thought the way you did initially, as Oblivion was a great technological leap from Morrowind, but I would have to disagree with you now. After playing Morrowind a second time, I realized there was a much bigger emphasis on content while Oblivion has a much better presentation and not as much content as Morrowind. Working on the same gen systems they have more time to work on quests, characters, gameplay, and non-graphic/physics stuff. This adds up to a more enjoyable experience in my opinio...
I think he is talking more about what the public views as generic vs namebrand. He mentioned how it was somewhat shocking knowing that DMC came before GOW when the public seems to think it was the other way around.
Zenimax owns Id and their games will be published by Bethesda SOFTWORKS. Bethesda GAME STUDIOS has said that they will not be using any tech from Id. Zenimax wants all the different game studios' games to feel unique.
They should really rename their publishing branch to Zenimax Publishing to avoid confusion between these two, but they make too much money off Bethesda's name.
