OpenFeint have around 1800 applications in the development pipe. That's a crazy amount of points I could have. I think I am just at 957 points so far (friend me up - Poxxer).
The OpenFeint app is great for finding the free app everday. It just takes forever for the free app page to load on my iPhone. Hopefully they can do something about that.
I love that Harmonix and MTV are doing this Super Bowl tie-in with the halfttime show.
I don't know how they decided it would be an XBLA first release, but I know how I WOULD have liked them to decide it - a friendly wager:

Thanks for the comments guys. It was a very tough decision between Flower and Fat Princess. Both games are great, but in the end I think Flower really pushed what can be offered uniquely on the digital download format. It really picks up pace after the third level and the sixth level makes the entire journey so worthwhile. I've said too much.

You are right, almost no one should have cared about this, but it is generating lots of feedback from users, even those who never used the Other OS feature. Sony mismanaged the communication and blew it with fans.
Removing backwards compatibility did not stop future sales for the PS3 either. However, that does not make it cool for Sony to remove it from people who bought systems that started with that feature.
