When have Microsoft dominated the FPS genre? They have halo - a really popular game, my point isn't anything against it, but Microsoft have FAR from dominated the genre.

The new insult will be 'iPhone port' instead of 'Wii port'. Because when playing a games console, I know which I'd rather have, a port of another console game than a phone game.

Yeah, gestures are what both Kinect and mobile devices do, but it is quite a bit different.

The BBC is absolutely brilliant. Its entire point is to be as unbiased as possible, it is funded entirely by public money - no outside influence at all.

I'm not saying it will be great, I'm not even saying it will be good, but the BBC do not any agenda going into this so it has the potential to be half decent. Though, I think gamers need to open up a little - the industry is under attack all the time from the influence games can have on the mind, but addiction to some...

I also love both Multiplayer and Single player. But..

There are so many of us that look to different developers for different reasons, and Bioware is a developer that creates a certain type of game that very few, if any, create. We look to Bioware for these games, and while they could be end up being fantastic at creating multiplayer games, we're still looking for more traditional Bioware stuff!

Developers usually look for a new direction when the current...

You're not supposed to like every game out there. If you're not into this type of game, or even this game, then the anticipation of course won't be worth it.

Just like I have no interest at all in Black ops, despite everyone elses anticipation.

I hate it when people play this "Movies play a 24fps" rubbish.

Yes, they do. But watching a film, with the person watching having absolutely no control of it, is totally different than having a player interacting with absolutely everything on screen.

The difference between 30 - 60 is pretty big.

Well no, DX10 was only supported by Vista. Not really a *fake* limitation.

The game is brilliant. Much bigger step up from Fable 2. All those mechanics and choices mean something, but quite a big gameplay flaw approaching the end of the game appears and becomes apparent after you have completed it if you have played it a certain way.

I played it that certain way and it has left me heartbroken at not wanting to do certain stuff afterwards. I love the charm and atmosphere of the game and wanted to do certain stuff in that world afterwards, but I can&#...

This is the first official delay, and it look to be around a month long at best.

GT5 hasn't been delayed AT ALL. Not once. The date they have given for the release now, is the only release they have ever given for the game. There is a difference for long development times and delays, and GT5 hasn't been delayed. Ever.

Sony aren't disabling third party devices, they're disabling devices that haven't been licensed to run on the system. Many, many legitimate third party devices have been licensed to run on the system, but the ones that haven't have been locked out.

@mindedone

Ah, but this is it. There are two things for that:

1) If they're interested in games enough to spend the time some of these people do on even the free flash games, then there is POTENTIAL for them to get hooked. Flash games could be that gateway drug, they might see a game that has farmville like mechanics or even a similar art style on their iPhone, that costs £2.99 or something and they buy it. So they're technically buying games the...

Well how people class a gamer isn't really relevant. The way these companies see it is, who plays a game regularly - and all those people fit that category, and why is that relevant to their numbers? Because there is potential to get those people onto other games and earning money from those people.

I've been saying this for ages. Valve's hate wasn't ever specifically for the PS3, the original hate from Gabe Newell actually started from him hating on Microsoft and the 360. This isn't anything new, Gabe hasn't suddenly turned into hating Xbox live, he has been saying this for years.

The only difference is what people are choosing to publish.

And i'll still play this game like I always have played Gran Turismo and other simulators. Avoid bumps or crashes at ALL COSTS. Restart races if I take a corner wrong, restart races if I take a bump.

Of course, there are certain type of races that might bring damage naturally during the race, like the WRC mode, so I won't be doing the same on that, but on the regular modes - I'll play it as if I were actually racing, not shrugging off bumps and crashes like you&#...

Wolfie. So why is this story linking to the PSMove review and not the Sports Champions review?

4986d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

7.5/10. Better than I thought it would be.

4986d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Insulting. You pay for live and they still throw some ads at you.

4995d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Why? The reason the price is reduced on the 360 and PC versions is down to the retailers (mostly) and the fact they know only few people will buy it after a certain time.

The game isn't any less worth the value asked once it is on the PS3, the game is the same (with extra content).
