Yeah they specifically mentioned that the sequels to Saint's Row, Homefront, Metro 2033, etc, are all perfectly fine and have not been affected at all. All their major releases are fine.

Yeah it really does seem like that's what they're going to do. But so far what I've seen about the Steam Box points towards a closed platform PC, which is definitely not a good thing. Especially when Valve themselves publicly criticize closed platforms. I really don't see anything good coming from the SB, I see it screwing a bit with the console market, and I also see it affecting the normal PC gaming market.

But when I think about it, what else could we expec...

Yup. This game was amazing. I knew it was going to be good, but I enjoyed it much more than any Saint's Row or GTA, except for Vice City. The game was near flawless, it was just a great game in all aspects. Here's hoping for a sequel.

At this point Versus XIII has to be a next gen title. Which I think would be a good thing considering how ambitious the game is.

This is a straight rip, not like most games where things are just very similar. This is literally just taking photos from The Walking Dead and pasting them into the games artwork.

Do your fucking homework. You're supposed to be a journalist. LBP and Sound Shapes were made by completely different studios, and LBP was not a port. I don't understand how people like this get hired, or how these articles even get published without some basic fact-checking.

How the fuck is Mass Effect 3 a runner up? Yeah, the ending was fucked. Yes it was. But that was only 15 minutes out of a 30 to 40 hour game. The rest of the game was amazing, and one of the best games this gen. Sure, everyone has their opinions, I understand that. But there's no way that ME3 could possibly be the biggest disappointment this year when there was so much crap that didn't even deserve to be released.

And about Operation Raccoon City. How was that a disap...

@MRMagoo123, Most of the games in the list don't even support mods, and the majority of PC games these days don't support mods either.

@BitbyDeath, Skyrim with mods is vastly superior to the console version. It still doesn't look next gen though, not even close. If we were to get these kinds of graphics next gen I would be very disappointed. They look better than todays console games, yeah, but not enough to warrant a purchase of a brand new console.

In EU, yeah. In NA we get crap compared to EU. Since the start of the IGC EU has gotten between 2 to 3 times more value of NA subscribers. even though we pay the same amount of money. They get big AAA retail games worth $20 to $30 each, and NA gets some PSN games worth $30 in TOTAL. It's a huge slap in the face.

Every week when people complain on the US PS blog we're told, "Just wait til next week, we've got some great content to match EU!" And then we g...

They filed for bankruptcy protection, and already have a deal in place to be bought out by Clearlake Capital. All their major releases are fine, and THQ will be fine as well. The company is positioning itself for the future. They've now got the funds to get out of their financial situation and make their games even better.

Most of the games in this article don't look next gen at all. Just very shiny with lots of bloom. That is not next-gen.

Yup. The first run of Xbox 360's had a reported 68% defect rate during testing. Then that was lowered to around 40%. Then around 30% with the Elite. Microsoft has claimed that the S model has remedied the RRoD issue, but in reality the defect rate is still around 25%. That's horrible. The acceptable defect rate across most hardware industries is usually between 1 to 3%. 5% is sometimes acceptable, but never more than that. That should put things into perspective and make people unders...

Such a brilliant guy. We need a lot more developers like him.

Yeah I was very disappointed with 4. I'll be waiting to see what gamers and friends think of it. If it's closer to 4 rather than previous GTA's then I'll wait for it to go on sale.

This has nothing to do with DayZ. The fact is, regardless of whether War Z is a half-assed rip off of Dayz (which it is), that's completely besides the point. War Z is just a pile of shit. Plain and simple. So go back to playing your shitty War Z and pray you don't get banned, because the devs are known to, and have been proven to ban both gamers who criticize them and also innocent gamers who aren't even hacking. Have fun.

The game really is that bad, and the devs ban anyone who criticize them. They've also been banning players with high play time knowing that the player is hooked, making them buy the game again. The game is shit though, and all the features listed on the Steam page are lies, they're not in the game.

Did you not bother reading what I wrote? Emulation is completely different than re-coding a game specifically to work with the Vita. Those PS2 games that are coming to the Vita are being completely re-coded for the Vita, they aren't using emulation, and they aren't simply being "upscaled". Emulation takes an enormous amount of power compared to the original console. The PS3 can obviously do it, but not without it's fair share of performance issues and bugs. The Vita is v...

Not Surface. The Microsoft tablet is called Surface. The Xbox tablet app is called SmartGlass and you can use it with any iOS, Android, or Windows phone/tablet.

PS2 Classics just aren't feasible. The Vita has nowhere near the amount of power needed to emulate PS2 games. I could see it being done by streaming through Gaikai, or through more HD Collections because those are completely recoded to run perfectly on the Vita. But that's about all.
